CBI's lack of transperancy...Shame.

CBI’s “partnership” in running of UPA Govt is not mere contribution and this open truth has become well known to the entire country. More than that, the two buddies UPA and CBI spit their venom on one particular state of this nation, that has extremely successful non-Congress led Govt as well as the state has acquired global recognition for scoring incredible progress.
Yes, I am talking about Gujarat...
Shri Narendra Modi led Gujarat has crossed implausible confines and bloomed in every sphere. Not just in economic escalation but it has crafted humanitarian growth that is inclusive. Every member of society, irrespective of his religion, caste or creed has been rewarded with benefits of growth. Agricultural income as well as GDP has risen substantially.
Still,
Gujarat is given step-brotherly treatment and Post-Godhra riots are viewed in wrong perspective and wearing tainted glasses.
Y?
There have been numerous riot like situations in the country post independence. At many instances , like Anti Sikh riots, there have been cases of genocide. Post Godhra riots was a reaction by angry and hurt people of the state to action, caused by torching of innocent lives in Sabarmati Express by mob of fanatic members of minority.Sadly, the cause which ignited riots has been deliberately forgotten and the Govt. on post is being damned since last decade.
Is any other Govt. in country, which has faced riot in their respective states has been subjected to similar shabby treatment and that too by non-Govt organization?
 No...
Firstly, there have been numerous instances of riots in the country since India attained freedom. Gujarat itself has witnessed number of them previously when state was being ruled by Congress. At none of the instances, state Govt was so harshly blamed and the Hon CM  made party to the rioters. Recently, the case of Assam, is still fresh where more colossal losses have incurred but Mr. Tarun Gogoi, the Hon. CM has not been hold responsible!!! In 1984, post Mrs. Gandhi’s death, the Sikhs were attacked mercilessly. There have been innumerable accounts where riots have hurt common men but at no instances, Hon CM or his ever progressive Govt received such raw deal that has been bestowed upon by CBI to Gujarat Goovt and Shri Narendra Modi.
Are we, the citizens even aware that in early July of 2010, famous Maoist leader Azad was cold bloodedly murdered by Andhra Pradesh police along with his journalist friend, Hemchand Pandey in fake encounter, killing him at few centimeters away???
Did the CBI hold any enquiry whatsoever?
Did the Hon CM and Hon HM of Andhra Pradesh, a Congress led state were jailed???
Did the CBI create any SIT [SPECIAL INVESTIGATING TEAM] to conduct enquiry???
And,
Where are the so called secular activists blabbering about HUMAN RIGHTS? Here, the victims were not even supposedly terrorists, who could be threat to the country, unlike Gujarat where Soharubuddin and Kaisar Bi had terrorist records, but no activists claiming to be shouldering the welfare of downtrodden came forward to raise their voice against the atrocities of the fake encounter of Andhra Pradesh...
This is proof enough of effrontery conduct that is imparted to Gujarat where as other states like Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi having Congress in ruling are getting away with carnage...
Why these different conduct for states within country???
Y????

Bande Main Hai Dum.. Shri Gunvant Shah..

Browsing through innumerable treasure of immortal books at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan , I came across striking collection of interviews of prominent personalities from various fields, compiled by Shri Kishor Makwana....
Each persona was different from one another...
Reading Shri Gunvant Shah, one of the most respected philosopher writer of current times, who at times has clambered above the usual spiritual apolitical discourses. Politics, if applied and utilized as a mean to serve and aid people of different startas and not necessarily downtrodden only,  can turn out to be instrument that can cultivate equilibrium mindset, conducive to progress not just in economical state but more so, in social and emotional fabric..
Shri Gunvantbhai, in his writings since last decade, has been projecting such an impression, or I should say, I have gathered this and has added in my personal progress.
I take a bow, Gunvantbhai..
Shri Gunvant Shah, has been staunch Gandhian, all his life.It is prevailing common belief, or I should say, the common opinion that has been popularized by so called, seculars or rather ‘suedo’ seculars that minority’s welfare is their prerogative and minority as a rule, is surely being harassed by majority of the citizens. Thus, they have capitalized Mahatma Gandhi as minority savior of past and they, the suedo seculars, or activists being his straight descanders. Anyone taking even a general view of wrongdoer, irrespective of any caste or religion is punishable, no matter wether he belongs to majority or minority, is communalist according to them. Such half cooked knowledable souls pretending to be social activists project this outlook as Gandhian philosophy!!!
In reality, a real Gandhian like Gunvantbhai have vast viewpoint that believes in inclusive growth and not minority appeasement. He has very balanced estimation about Shri Narendra Modi, too. He was never his ardent fan or follower In his interview to Kishorbhai, he has at length, described his abhorrence towards attacks on  innocent Muslims and then his views about Narendra Modi’s conduct and handling of the situation. In the beginning, who was his critic at heart, refrained from writing or commenting anything against or for him as he was firm in searching for what was truthfully true. For six to eight months, after the post-Godhra riots, he ignored mentioning NaMo. Neither wrting anything in his favor nor against him and in meanwhile, searched thoroughly about NaMo’s accomplishments. He came across innumerable so called activists, who made a fashion statement out of blameworthiness of Hindus. The communal riot of Ahmedabad, during post-Godhra, was termed as Progrom, Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide!!! NaMo was tagged as General Diar, Mahishasur,  Hitler, Killer, Murderer, Fascist by these so called savior of minority!!!
But,
NaMo unperturbly continued putting in his best efforts to make progress, not only economically but inclusive social progress where the most marginalized person of the society was included irrespective of his religion, caste or creed.
And,
Shri Gunvantbhai states that he absorbed these commitment by NaMo to form an opinion about him. In addition, three more happenings aided in changing his contemplation.
1.On 29th Dec 2002, Gunvantbhai was participating in seminar and get-to-gether of Skilled Teachers at Vyara where he was to deliver lecture. On the dias, Late Shri Zinabhai Darji, an ardent Gandhian Congressi and Shri Babubhai Shah were seated. After the function, naturallt the subject of discussion was no other than NaMo.. Zinabhai, naturally fervent anti-Modi, commented, “Modi may have other flaws in him but “salo” corrupt nathi!!! he is non-corrupt.” This was a certificate from person who has been his opponent , was most significant..
2.On 2nd March 2003, at a function in Umata, Mehsana, lokarpan vidhi of 58 houses which were demolished during riots belonging to Muslims took place. The ceremony was presided by Ex. police commissioner of Punjab, Shri K.P.S. Gill and Shri Gunvant Shah.Shri Gill was appointed as advisor to Gujarat Govt post riots. While discussing NaMo with him, the response received by Gunvantbhai was,  “Narendra Modi ne kuch bhi jaan buz kar kiya  aisa main nahi manta hu...” These words were of K.P.S.Gill.
3.The day, results of Gujarat Vidhansabha polls in 2002 were announced, Gunvantbhai was giving lecture in South Africa. On the flight back from Jo’berg, to Mumbai, airhostess handed him the TOI of Mumbai edition, where in the center of the cover page, an article by Ahmedabad edition editor, Kinshuk Nag had appeared. Mr. Nag had not left a feather unturned in criticizing NaMo and not left a single opportunity to condemn NaMo, had written, “The personality of Shri Narendra Modi has added lion share in BJP ‘s success and that can not be denied at all. The most loathed enemy of him would also not be able to denie that motivated decision making of his is unparrelal.” This remark that came from most venomous opponent projects such positive values of Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership and dedication towards transparent good governance that has initiated immeasurable growth of state.
Respected Mahashweta Devi, prominent social activist and literate [Megsese award winner]  with Leftist thinking praised the governance of Gujarat [Criticized the then Communist administration of West Bengal] [The Pioneer, New Delhi, 26-8-2007.] Reserve Bank of India had given highest ranking to Gujarat for their economic policy.
Shri Gunvant Shah, staunch believer of Gandhian philosophy, declares that future of Gujarat is dazzling and adds that History will remember Shri Narendra Modi for taking Gujarat to zenith.A

Poor remains deprived in India.. Who is responsible???

Poverty is defined as a social phenomenon in which a section of the society is unable to fulfill even its basic necessisities of life. When the quantum of such deprived section is huge and continues at bare subsistence level, the society can be tagged as plagued with mass poverty.
In Indian society, according to Prof. Suresh Tendulkar, the chairman of Planning Commission, a person would be considered poor, as on 2009-10, if his monthly income is less than Rs. 673 in rural areas and Rs.860 in urban areas, meaning Rs.29 or more in urban areas and Rs. 22 and above in rural areas would not be called poor!!! The Hon. SC has questioned this methodology submitted by Prof. Tendulkar’s committee. The Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Shri Montek singh Ahluwalia was queried by the Hon. SC, that how can a person consume 2400 calories in rural area and 2100 calories in urban area with less than Rs. 22 a day in rural and Rs.29 a day in urban areas?
As per this standard, internationally most commonly accepted definition of poverty, is US$ 2 a day. If we convert  the same in rupees, it would amount to Rs. 112 per day!!! Thus, the definition which defies poverty line with an amount, which is nearly one third, appears absolutely absurd.
This indicates redundant projection of poor and deprived class of Indian society and the insensitiveness of the Government of India, towards lower starta of society, where Govt is unable to provide for minimum subsistence cost of living. The Govt of India refuses to recognize poor as deprived class and finds comfortable gate-away from the reality and responsibility..

The important difference between FDI in industries and FDI in retail...

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is direct investment into production in a country by a company located in another country, either by buying a company in the target country or by expanding operations of an existing business in that country. Foreign direct investment is done for many reasons including to take advantage of cheaper wages in the country, special investment privileges such as tax exemptions offered by the country as an incentive to gain tariff-free access to the markets of the country or the region.
It is not Portfolio Management where you buy stocks and bonds as securities of another country. It is deeper than that, The foreign investment that is set up in the retail brand, creates certain amount of job opportunity, but in return sucks away the profit to their country, not only profit but also the taxes are paid in their own country. Thus, the product that is being sold to people of, for ex. India and the earnings are transferred to the country of origin and hence the Indian wealth goes offshore.
It is another thing to invite industries to India, which brings know-how and new job opportunities which were non-existant in India. Retail business is already well-establish in India since last 5000 years. What know-how will foreign multi-brand retail bring to us? Our own multi-brand stores are  well-set like Reliance, Tata etc. Moreover, the foreign industries which come to our country, for setting up industry here, come with technological updates but set up the industry, on local soil where the entire production takes place. Thus, apart from creating huge job opportunity, it also ensures control over production according to Indian laws and norms. For ex. Bondage labour and child labour is prohibited in India. Production taking place in India, will not be permitted to do so but in muti brand retail, where the finished good arrives in India for selling purpose, does not ensure control over production. Secondly, the small manufacturers of India, whose products, may have qualitative values will be doomed as their products can not compete with multi brand retail products which are produced in bulk. Thirdly, the skilled laborer of the country will diminish. For ex. For years, cobblers, carpenters, tailors have provided community service but with multi-brand retail, they will cease to exist.
During Maughal era, Jahangir had permitted British to do trade in Surat and finally, it brought East Indian Company to India and along with that more than 200 years of British rule!!!
Are we, on onset of the same???

The fanatic Congress..

Mumbai is ablaze..The financial capital of nation is burning in broad day light and the heart of the city is riot affected.
Sad, it seems, but only sadness will not let us breathe peacefully now. Unless, we dwell deeper in the cause of this insecurity prevailing, we will never be able to eradicate this cancer of fanatism from spreading.
When Assam was disturbed  due to illegal Bangladeshi migrants into Bodo townships, the Muslim politicians colored it with communal color. Mr. Assaudin Owaisi, Member of Parliament{shame} from Hydrabad, announced that if they are clogged from entering Bharat, the entire Muslim population would turn terrorist!!!
This is an outrageous statement!!!
Owaisi sent Doctors and medicines, only for Muslim camps of refugees, who had fleed from homes in Assam. If he belonged to Congress, a so-called secular party, how did he have guts to act in communal fashion? If he has nerve to blame RSS as being communal, has he ever or any one else seen RSS, being partial and not providing service or aid to non-Hindu?  Now, who is being communal?
Owaisi instigated and ill informed Mullas and their uneducated youth got carried away...
Still, sadly neither the Congress, who blabbers about Secularism and pampers communal minded Assaudin Owaisi by issuing him ticket to contest and their paid media are largely to be blamed. Media does not possess mettle to clearly mention, “Muslims attacking” even when their OB vans are targeted and set on fire!!!
This is height of nincompoopness!!!
Shockingly, the ones who were attacked were  Police force and media and neither could strongly protest against them for fear of God alone knows what? Police force is hardly to be blamed as they are not equipped to take decision on the manner of retaliation nor do they own powerful weapons.
But,
The Govt. in power in metro like Mumbai, does not have clout in controlling such communal minded is hideous. To what extent the power of vote bank politics can create havoc is for every citizen to watch. Infect, the Congress minister Naseem Arif Khan’s right hand Rizwan had got the Azad Maidan at Mumbai booked, where the ugly rioting took place!!!
In fact, the Bangladeshi migrants who illegally enter Bharat, acquire Ration card and other documents and turn citizen is in reality, nuisance for Indian economy as well as Socio-political system. Moreover, all the anti-national activity is performed by them and communalism is spreaded on huge scale.
The heartburning question is-If Advaniji is held responsible for Babri collapse, if NaMo is blamed for Post-Godhra riots, they are tagged harshly communal... Does Congress and the media affirmatively address their own MP Owaisi as super-communal? Doesn’t he appear Fanatic according to Congress? and Congress, supporting such communal forces can never be termed secular as they claim themselves to be...

Gujarat shows the way, in water distribution and irrigation...

Recently Shri Sharad Pawar and Shri Jairam Ramesh, the two of the prominent UPA ministers visited state of Gujarat to check on drought like condition in Gujarat and have a dialogue with Hon. C.M. of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi regarding the help from center.
Shri Narendra Modi, though his state suffering from acute drought, offered center to supply their surplus electricity for power deficient states and in return demanded additional supply of gas. Shri Sharad Pawar was immensely impressed with Gujarat’s irrigation and distribution of water.
But,
This is not the breaking news of this piece.
The motive behind propagating this subject is God’s mercy, a bit late no doubt on certain states like Uttarakhand, Kerala, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh etc. where rain God has been favorable. Maharashtra and Gujarat have been unfortunate in this and the scarcity of drinking water as well as fodder is hitting hard.
Heavy rains over river Narmada in Madhya Pradesh, has brought additional water supply in Sardar Sarovar dam over Narmada in Gujarat. While I write this pic, the Sardar Sarovar is overflowing.
And,
That would lessen the gravity of scarcity of drinking water.
But,
This does not permit us to rejoice because till last 12 years, rain God had been delighted with India and hence, drought like conditions hardly existed. That does not allow us, to relax and be completely dependent on rain flow and not possess sufficient man-made devices to conquer the situation.
§  The height of Sardar Sarovar has been controversial issue since long.
§   In February 1999, the Supreme Court of India gave the go ahead for the dam's height to be raised to 88 m (289 ft) from the initial 80 m (260 ft).
§  In October 2000 again, in a 2 to 1 majority judgment in the Supreme Court, the government was allowed to construct the dam up to 90 m (300 ft).[9]
§  In May 2002, the Narmada Control Authority approved increasing the height of the dam to 95 m (312 ft).
§  In March 2004, the Authority allowed a 15 m (49 ft) height increase to 110 m (360 ft).
§  In March 2006, the Narmada Control Authority gave clearance for the height of the dam to increased from 110.64 m (363.0 ft) to 121.92 m (400.0 ft). This came after 2003 when the Supreme Court of India refused allow the height of the dam to increase again.
§  Recently, the height of dam is128 m.

The Gujarat Govt. had demanded to put up flood-gates over existing height of Sardar Sarovar dam. These flood-gates would have increased the height of dam by 10 m.enabled the existing 280 sq. km. lake to be increased in over 400 sq.km and this additional accumulation of water could easily irrigate and supply water to far off lands of Saurashtra and Kutch.
The issue of rehabilitation was raised by “Narmada Bachao Andolan” and Medha Patkar, but eventually the rehabilitation of people concerned has been successfully done. Actually, it is inevitable and water supply reaching to far off land is much larger issue than few thousand, if has to vacate their land and rehabilitate. Thus, the central Govt.’s unnecessary obdurate conduct is nothing but loss to common man. Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment and vision has somewhat eradicated this folly of center’s  behavior. The water amass reaches the far off corner of the state through motor pumps but the cost incur is turning out to be steep.
Gujarat Govt. has been fervently negotiating with center to grant this floodgates but probably lack of understanding of severity of situation or indifference towards Gujarat’s demand or further still, political calculations to not allow a gain to Team Gujarat...Whatever may be the case, but finally the sufferer is Common man of Gujarat..
And,
The central UPA Govt. is entirely to be blamed....

Ghar kab Aaoge, kaho kab aaoge...Yeh ghar tum bina suna suna hai...

A few days back, the country went in frenzy with Sarabjeet Singh-Surjeet Singh issue. Countrymen suffered the anguish and pain experienced by the family of both, for long number of years, along with them. Person in foreign jails presumably and not being aware of their precise where abouts, is horrifying.
Surjeet Singh, after being freed from Pakistan jail, claimed that there are number of Indian soldiers in Pak jails, living dreadful existence. Many of them, who had fought relentlessly and laid their lives to free our motherland from foreign [its irony, we have to mention Pakistan as foreign, which was very much part of our own dear homeland, a few years back....] attacks. It is sadly shocking that Indian Govt.s in center, have hardly taken any firm and unyielding steps, [except on counted occasion] to free these dedicated sons of India.
After Bangla Desh war, in 1971, Bharat freed 93,007 Pakistani soldiers  held in Eastern [Bangla] border and 3,703 soldiers on Western border, near Pakistan. Total of 96,710 Pak soldiers, were respectfully handed back to Pak authorities. On our front, Pakistan freed 616 war prisoners but did not free 54 more, out of them 34 were of Officer’s ranking!!! In 1972, when Late Mrs. Gandhi, the then P.M. signed the Shimla Agreement and returned the land to Pak, which was won by Indian army, she hesitated in demanding custody of those 54 war prisoners, who are till date, leading hideous existence in Pak jails.
When Gen. Zia-Ul-Haque capured power from the then P.M. of Pakistan, Late Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto in 1978 and he was in Kot-Lakhpat prison. He was unable to sleep at nights due to voice and noise of shriek and cries. He enquired to the officials and the truth came out...The war prisoners of 1971 Indo-Pak war, were physically and mentally tortured and they were in disoriented state, thus this screams.!!! This story has been portrayed in Victoria Scofield, BBC reporter’s book, “Bhutto’s trial and execution”.
In 1979, during Chaudhary Charan Singh’s rule the then MoS for External Affairs, Shri Samrendra Kundu had presented a list of 54 war prisoners, who had fought against the foe, Pakistan risking their own lives. 29 of them were from army and 25 belonged to air force.
But,
The irony is the Indian Govt.s have never really insisted adamantly to liberate these national heroes!!! Except on one occasion, when Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee had raised the issue in Agra Summit in 2001 with Parvez Mushraff, the Pak president of that time
 but,
With the failure of the summit, the issue got buried there and then.
It is not the matter of Pakistan’s shamelessness  and disregarding reverence of international agreements  only but it is about Indian Govt.s  pathetically feeble conduct. In Dec.1971, Pak radio announced the capturing of five Indian Pilots alive. Indian Govt. has the recording as proof, Indian spies, for N number of times repeatedly affirmed the news that more than 40 war prisoners are in captive but despite of all these Indian Govt. could not gather courage to pressurize Pak to release  the them. Neither at the time of Shimla Agreement, nor after it!!!
Out of these 54 ill-fated once, two of them belong to Gujarat. Flt. Lieutenant Nagaswami Shankar hails from Vadodara and Captain Kalyan Rathod is from Sabarkantha district. On their behalf, Advocate M.K. Pal from Rajkot has been diligently fighting for the cause in Gujarat High Court. On last 20th April, Gujarat High Court, passed a verdict, condemning  the  central govt. for their negligence in undertaking efforts of liberating these 54 soldiers of Mother India. The Gujarat High Court ordered the Central Govt. to provide the kith and kin of those soldiers with entire pay of all these years as well as the pension package, within two weeks. The Gujarat HC also ordered the Central Govt. to appeal in International Court of Justice, for liberation of these soldiers.
But,
The Central Govt. did the unimaginable...
They agreed to the order of Gujarat HC. regarding payment and pension but appealed in Hon. SC against Gujarat HC in the matter of challenging Pakistan in International Court of Justice!!! What should have been a  voluntary  move by the Central Govt. to persist about liberating Indian war prisoners, in stead the”Hon” Central Govt. is filing case against the issue!!!
Lieutenant Carnal Rajkumar Pattu and Brigadier Manmohan Sharma have written a documentation kind of thesis called “Indian Prisoners of War in Pakistan”. It contains  the evidences and testimony about the prisoner’s heartbreaking condition  and their family’s plight. The book has Major A.K. Ghosh’s picture on the cover  and in 1991 issue of Time magazine, the same Major Ghose standing behind the bar has appeared on cover.
Flt. Lieutenant Harvinder Singh is [was?] son of Squadron Leader Gurubaksh Singh. He was informed about his son being incarcerate in the hands of enemy and was sent the address for communication. Gurubaksh Singh wrote innumerable letters but received no reply. When he contacted  the Air Force headquarters, he was instructed to appeal for the pension stating that his son was no more and refused to part with any more details. Without proof, the Squadron Leader was not prepared to believe it and obtain death pension!!!
Similar is the case of Flt. Lieutenant V.P. Tambe. On 4th Dec. ’71, Tambe’s aircraft was shot and smashed. Pak newspapers published the news and Mrs. Damyanti Tambe, consoled herself that her husband was still alive. When Pakistani authority handed over the 616 war prisoners post war, he was not one among many. Mrs Tambe pleaded and implored the authority but Indian authority was unmoved. She was instructed to accept the death pension, instead!!! In 1978, during Morarji Desai’s tenure as PM, one Bangladeshi defense officer came to Jamnagar and on Jamnagar Airbase, met up with Tambe’s brother, who was in Air force, too. The Bangla officer informed Tambe’s brother that in Layalpur jail of Pakistan, a person named Tambe who has similar looks is kept and he keeps writing his name on wall with brick!!! Damyanti Tambe, appealed again. Advocate Pal has decided to support her in receiving justice.
In 1983, after Late Mrs. Gandhi regained power, the subject became persistent and Indira Gandhi decided to send six war prisoner’s families to Pakistan. They would be illustrated with all the said Indian prisoners and the family’s would recognize them. Pakistan never wished to agree on such arrangement but under  international pressure, they agreed to demonstrate them, very much reluctantly. As soon as they departed, Mrs. Gandhi passed a comment  criticizing Pak Govt. about disrespectful conduct with Khan Abdul Gafar Khan. The relations between two countries were strained again and in reaction, Pakistan showed only 3 prisoners, instead of 23 as promised and only the Multan jail. The prisoners were those who were involved in Smuggling or had crossed the border unintentionally!!!
And,
The group returned empty-handed. The Human Right Activists  of Pak, Ashma Jahangir and Ansar Burney supported the claim of war prisoner’s families. Ashma Jahangir, in her interview to BBC in 1991 had asserted that there were 43 war prisoners in Pak jails.
Advocate Pal states that his mission is to unshackle the soldiers, who have dedicated their lives for Ma Bharti. The Govt. can not forget them or disregard their kith’s plight. As per the information from an Indian Spy, only one Carnal has met with death but all others are alive and leading distasteful lives...
And,
It’s a disgrace for our Govt. in center.

Are we prepared to adopt American Presidential system?

Presidential election in our country is just round the corner. Every other hour, some or the other BREAKING NEWS regarding this election is conquering our T.V. screens. First, it was regarding selection of presidential candidate, than about winning the support of major and minor parties….
And,
This election has turned into one big Warring event…
Imagine, the appointment of the First Person of our country and the entire scenario is nothing else but militaristic episode.
India, being a democracy,  the President is powerful rubber stamp with no power to implement and more so, because usually [of course, not always] the post is filled by existing leader of the political party and he/she follows the instructions as well as wishes of the Govt. []This has been a practice, so far].
Looking at Presidential strength, other than our country, we generally sight at Presidential democracy of USA. Where as what we follow in India, is adoption of British pattern, where President takes the role of King/Queen of Britain and plays passive role. USA, too were ruled by British and fought to acquire their independence but they espoused different form of democracy.
Now, in current scenario, Presidential election has become an extension of thrusting power game, the question is doing rounds in mindsets of people, that why not American presidential system?
What is American Presidential system?
American Presidential System projects Head of state that performs as head of administrative group, too. American Prez is elected directly by citizen’s voting and is entitled to rule for at least 4 years. He/she has the authority to directly appoint talented various personalities as head of different departments. USA has two party system and whenever any minute group comes into existence, within sometime it merges with the one of the major parties. Since last 150 years, US has had Republican and Democratic parties and the President is chosen from either of the party.
In comparison, our country has number of parties apart from the leading ruling and opposition. Agreed, administration and performance of the govt. in power would be comparatively, induce less corruption but the bona fide meaning of term “democracy” could be jeopardized.  Democracy implies Expression of political beliefs, not  violating the peace and harmony of the society. India being multi linguistic nation as well as it represents diversification in religion, too. Hence, the representation of smaller groups, existing on state levels has to be incorporated. In addition, India is a country, with centuries old history and social strata. The then social and economic systems, which were boon in olden era that elaborated inclusive social fabric, later on with passage of time and during foreign rules, turned out to be cause for Class and Caste division. The huge class of people of the country had been victim of caste and class schism and thus, exploited. In such circumstances, their representation in current democratic system becomes inevitable. Thus, American Presidential system, however may be pertinent in theory but for India’s contemporary socio-political scenario, it may not be appositely applicable.

Corruption in Public Sectors by Congress in its 60+ rule.

Congress and corruption both start with “C”. Thus bonding between them is unbreakably strong. India attained independence in 1947  and the first Govt. was formed under the leadership of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had few non-Congressi leaders, who were assigned ministeries. Mahatma Gandhi had asked Pandit Nehru to incorporate Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukharjee in the cabinet, though their political beliefs were anti-Congress, due to their commitment and capabililities  to serve the nation.
Pandit Nehru ‘s ideology was inclining towards Socialism and thus, he dreaded Privatization. Public Sectors were given gratuitous importance and the loop-holes of in Public Sectors were overlooked. He addressed Public Sectors as “Temples of Modern India.”He feared Privatization would lead to money accumulation in hands of few and India, being young and over-populated nation with more people residing in BPL, the deprived class would remained more and more underpriviledged.
But,
This optimism of Pandit Nehru, invented Public Sectors which turned into Power centralization centers and which in turn gave birth to colossal corruption. Pandit Nehru’s gradient towards Socialism was integrated in numerous Public Corporations such as Steel, Drugs, Fertilizers, Engineering Consultancy, Farming and Food Imports, Mining, Oil Refinaries, Hotel and Commodity Trading. Today, Commodity Trading has ignited such huge speculations in basic food products that the undue and excessive rise in price results in unbearable burden on common man’s shoulder.
Pandit Nehru’s whim regarding creating uncountable Public Corporations swallowed Rs. 6000 crores in 1969 to 23,000 crores in 1990. The Govt. attributed Rs. 50,000 crores in deficiet budget. About 390 such ”temples” have digested mammoth public money.
When Maharashtra’s  Finance Minister was Forest Development Corporation’s Chairperson, he was ordered to appoint Congress jobless Karyakartas on various posts. Thus, he generated superfluous  Corporations in Congress led states, which provided high salary and perks to them.
And,
This unplanned so called economic reforms is the main cause for decline in economic growth. Mind well, complete open economy is not the answer to the over-populated country like ours but resorting to uncontrolled Public Sector has led to corruption on huge scale.

Where the womenfolks prosper, the community flourishes.. Kudos to Sewa International Trust and Gujarat Govt.'s efforts.

Motherland Bharatmata is bursting with colorful diversity and accompanied by uncountable talent. Indian womenfolk has always portrayed artistic pursuits even while performing household chorus. Their fingers are home to multiple flair and thus, their courage to support the family in bad times, is outstanding.
In 2001, Kutch in Gujarat was an epic center for horrendous earthquake and as a result the lives were devastated. Those, who were affluent gathered their lives at faster pace but the economically backward were terribly shattered.
But,
Their fingers were replete with abounding embroidery art and their courage to get back to life with zest, impressed the Sewa International Trust of RSS and they took it up on themselves to re-habitate these women and their families and help them to walk on the path of self-reliance. Thus, it started a few years back in a small area called Jiyapar, few kilometers away from Bhuj, in Kutch district. Jiyapar, too was completely crushed in 01 earthquake but, with the enormous funding of Shree Swaminarayan Trust and common man’s zeal, the village was once again set up.
The Sewa International Trust initiated the womenfolk belonging to Rabari, Aahir, Harijan and such economically backward classes to develop and project their art and skill to help them to be economically independent and stand on her two feet. The Silk and threads were ordered from Banaras and looms were set up. The products produced by them were exhibited in various exhibitions. Few foreigners were so impressed that they ordered bulk orders. The local trust was formed named, Kutch Sewa Kala Kendra, which worked in association with Sewa International Trust.
Later, Gujarat Govt. gave a plot of 8,950 sq.feet to construct where 2300 sq.ft center was built. Sewing Machines set up to mechanize the work and get larger output.
Sewa International Trust is RSS outfit which is one of its many projects that works for the welfare of the society. Not only for their social upliftment but also their economic development.
Shri Narendra Modiji’s Gujarat Govt. has womenfolk s progress, very close to their heart. Shri Modiji inaugurated the Kutch Sewa Kala Kendra, the training and design Center in Jiyapar and saluted the Nari Shakti...

The saga of sinking INR...

The Value of Rupee is all time low, at present. The value of Dollar, as compared to INR is Rs. 52.3 and GBP [Great Britian Pound] is Rs.82.9, as on today..
One is obligatory to discover the reason behind such a huge of fall in our currency value as there is not any visible grounds that one can suspect of, other than Indian Govt.’s inefficiency and may be, intentions...
The rainfall has been unvarying since few years and nation not really facing any severe drought like situation.
But,
Still, the value of Indian Rupee has degraded and stooped to its lowest..
When India attained independence on 15th August 1947, there was no debt on Indian economy and the value of 1 Rs.=1 $!!! With the introduction of Five year plan, the Indian Govt. needed funds, thus they started borrowing and started devaluing Indian Rupee. This situation was worsened when Indo-China war broke out in 1962 and later during Indo-Pak war in 1965.The Rupee was further de-valued as India needed finances to buy weapon.
In 1966, when Mrs. Indira Gandhi became the P.M. the inflation had reached to its peak.To maintain the US aids, USA Govt. demanded and pressurized to further devalue the Indian currency against US and kept the value of INR at Rs.7=$1. The then ministers Mr. Krismachari and Mr. Kamraj opposed vehemently to this policy but to no avail as Mrs. Gandhi was adamant about having the US aid.
After 1970, the value of US$ grew stronger to INR due to incompetence of Indian politician, the then Govt. of Mrs. Gandhi and bully of US. The exchange rate of $1=Rs.7.47 in 1970 which rose to $1=Rs.8.40.in 1975. After the assassination of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in 1984 and the Bofors scandal as well as tumbling of Mr. Rajiv Gandhi’s governance brought the INR still further down to $1=Rs. 12.36 in 1985. In 1990, the value of 1 US $=INR 17.50...
Whenever India faced economic crisis, US made India de-value the INR by giving financial aids or trading benefits. In 1991, under Shri Narsimha Rao’s govt. India faced dire drop in INR against US$. The Indian Forex Reserve sunk to its bottom  and at a point of time, the Indian Forex Reserve was as low which allowed payment of only 3 months import bills. To overcome this crisis, Indian Govt. borrowed hugely from International Monetary Funds [IMF]  with the condition that INR would be de-valued further. Due to this, the 1 US$ became 24.38INR. from Rs. 16.49.
After this, the US dollar has been on ascending spree. 1 US $= 28.97 INR in 1992. In 1995, 1 US$=34.96 INR. In year 2000, 1 US $= INR 46.78.
But,
In 2002, for the first time in the history, the INR became stronger than the US $. In December 2002, the value of INR=48.14 and in 2003, the INR was 45.57 and in 2004, the INR was 43.84 as compared to 1 US $.
Today, the value of Dollar as compared to INR is on top. It makes one wonder, the cause behind this....
The reasons can be plenty..
Whenever the value of INR has dripped, naturally the foreign investment has flown in. Not the entire investment, is fair purpose investments. Lately, whenever the  Rupee is de-valued, it is accompanied by colossal amount of Black money invested by Indians in foreign banks.
It is very important to control the de- valuation of Indian Rupee to prevent the decay of Indian economy.

The value of Indian currency slipppping down...

Day and day out, the Indian economy slips on descending order. The price rise acute and shortages of basic goods accurate. The inflation shooting up on rocketing speed. The poor becoming poorer even though the weather God has not completely not blessed our land. The drought like situation prevailing on a small scale here and there but not the entire country is in the clasp of it.
The scarcity experienced due to unimaginable corruption in the distribution system of  basic goods as well as speculations permitted in necessary products  like Dal Chawal, Sugar n Spices...It is the irony when the Govt. itself becomes party to such shoddy activities. “Jiska Raja Vyapari, Uski Praja Bhikhari”.   If the speculation commotion  persists of luxuries, it is still permit able as it does not really amend common men’s lives but to augment the cost of most necessary edibles, is criminal.
But,
The saga of misery does not end here. Recently, the value of Indian currency is falling exceptionally low. It may appear to world, that Indian economy is plummeting due to exhausted resources or natural calamities but we all know, none of it is true. It is mainly and only the result of unparallel sleaze in intention of people in power, lack of purest of purpose  and commitment to bring about change in the most marginalized person’s lives. As a result, the value of Dollar and Pound is shooooting up. In reality, the British economy is in doldrums and their infrastructural development is diminishing. The rich and elite class of UK is on verge of shifting base. Same is the condition of USA, where unemployment due to collapsing of economic reforms is on ever so high. In such scenario, there does not seem to be one good reason for Rupee to fall on eternal low.
But, Yes....
There is a reason.
The Black money hidden in foreign banks has turned out to be the burning issue and slowly and steadily the citizens are becoming aware of it. Now, the time might come when to bring the Black money back becomes an inevitable issue for the UPA Govt.
And,
It is an open secret, about the ownership of the Black money. If the value of Rupee falls, increasing the value of Dollar, bringing back Black money would be more profitable....
Isn’t it?
Think....

The Bharat Bandh on 31st May, for the people, by the people...

Burning question that is skipping the heartbeat of every Indian is the rocketing price rise. Price rise has become so acute in last five years, that if the same continues, entire economy would be paralyzed and this paralysis could lead to Civil war. Day in and day out, the price of basic commodities has been shooting upwards, no matter whether the rainfall increases or the agricultural output is ascending. The poor distribution system along with mammoth corruption causes unavailability of essential goods for common man. These shortages of necessity products are accompanied by rise in petroleum products, agricultural goods and related basic indispensable items and thus creating havoc in the lives of people of the country.
The comparison of certain basic good’s price in 2004 under NDA Govt. and in 2009 and 2012 under current UPA Govt. would throw light on colossal increase in cost of essential items. The Petrol which was 33.15 Rs. Per liter in 2004 had become 44.60 Rs. in 2009 and has eventually turned to 78.60 Rs. Recently, after the current rise of 7.50 Rs. That is 137% steep rise. Similarly, price of Diesel which was Rs. 22.50 per liter in 2004, turned into 34.50 Rs. In 2009 and now it has become 45.30 Rs!!! The cost of cooking gas, another essential for day to day survival used to cost Rs. 244 per cylinder but in 2004, its price had shoot up to Rs. 312 and in 2009 Rs. 450 per cylinder. The rise of 84%...
Petrol is a perishable commodity. After certain years, it’s bound to be exhausted. Thus, rise in its price is inevitable sometime or other but the price of Crude in international market has increased in limited quantum and this situation of rise in Crude can be controlled by decreasing the tax as well as vat and its benefits can be passed on to the consumer. The rise in price in international market for Crude has caused such devastating effect on Indian economy but the same has not affected the Petrol prices of our neighboring nations.  In  Pakistan, cost of Petrol is Rs. 59 [19.57 Rs. Less than India], In Sri Lanka, it is Rs. 61.70 [Rs. 16.87 less], In Bangladesh, Rs. 43.40 [Rs. 35.17 less]... In developed Countries like USA, the cost of Petrol is Rs. 53.70 [Rs. 24.87 less] and in Russia, it is Rs. 50.20 [Rs. 23.87 less] These entire survey proves that the intention of UPA Govt. at center lacks the initiative for welfare of common beings of the country. It is essential that the central govt. cuts down on its tax revenue and pass this advantage to the commoners of India, mainly the middle and upper middle class. During the rule of Shri A.B. Vajpayee, the same ‘revenue neutral’ system was adopted.
But,
Not only the sheer rise in price of Petroleum products is a cause of deep concern. It is poking sharply in people’s soul coz the unparallel increase in basic food items has turned the taste of morsel completely bitter. Wheat, Rice, Sugar, Tea, Ghee, Oil, different dals such as Toor, Mong, Chana, Jaggery and Besan comprises of staple diet of an average Indian. The price of each of these products have recorded minimum of 100 to 233% of rise in its cost as compared to prices in 2004.Vegetables And Milk have not been left behind. The price of Milk which was 14 Rs, per liter in 04 has shoot up to 36 Rs. Per liter, rise by 157%!!! The vegetable’s prices have almost doubled!!!
All these steep and sharp price rise causes huge jolt in people’s lives. The entire society will have to raise their voice against this daily calamities forced upon them. It is the common man condemning and fighting vehemently to allow them better and reasonable standard of living, would create a hell of difference and alter the situation planted on them. The political parties, especially the opposition will take the lead but the final blow to this heartless Govt. lies in the hands of every common man. Remember, not voting in the election to project your protest against this inefficient Govt. is not the solution as it would enable the incompetents to regain power, as they hail on the votes of lower classes, whom they please with bundles of green currency.
Thus,
It is the middle and upper middle class which has to take the lead...
Its now or never...

What is a Solar City?
The Solar City aims at minimum 10% reduction in projected demand of conventional energy at the end of five years, through a combination of enhancing supply from renewable energy sources in the city and energy efficiency measures. [source]
The basic aim is to motivate the local Governments for adopting renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures. In a Solar City all types of renewable energy based projects like solar, wind, biomass, small hydro, waste to energy etc. are installed along with possible energy efficiency measures depending on the need and resource availability in the city.
In the process of creating Gandhinagar as Solar city, SOLAR ROOF TOP POLICY has been adopted. In recently concluded  Indian Solar Investment and Technology Summit,  at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, a unique initiative has been implemented. On the roof tops of private and Government buildings, solar plants will be set up and solar power would be generated from it. 2 companies would be generating 5 mega watt solar energy and the owners offering roof tops for solar energy creation would be rewarded with Rs. 3 per unit for 25 years by the companies.
Under the Roof top policy, Sun Addition and Assyour has signed MOU’s with Gujarat Govt. and will be creating 2.5 mega watt power each. Torrent Power Company will be buying the created energy.
Dr. Jivraj Mehta Bhavan or more popularly known as Old  Sachivalay, is to have 1 megawatt plant activated. More than 60 constructions  would be brought under Roof Top Solar Energy Project in Gandhinagar. Out of which, 80% would be Govt. buildings where as 20% would be privately owned. The minimum required area to lay the Solar panel is 2000 square feet.
After the Gandhinagar turns into Solar City, the next in the queue are Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara and Bhavnagar.
And,
The unstoppable Modi Govt. in Gujarat is on the path of creating “Solar Gujarat”...

22 years after the ethnic cleansing in Kashmir valley, 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits are yet to return to their homes. Leave alone their return to teh valley, nobody even talks about this issue
There has been continuous focus on the plight of Muslims in the camps in Gujarat, there has been total indifference and unconcern on the conditions faced by Kashmiri Pandits uprooted and rendered homeless/helpless living in refugee camps in Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai...
Its an old saga that occurred in 1989-90 and for more than two decades these residents of the “heaven on earth”, are living the lives of hell.
The constant fear and shivering under their spine, to save their kith and kin from calamities of attacks, bombarding, rap has rendered the inhabitant of the valley refugees in their own motherland...
Numerous times, an argument is put forward that India is culturally heterogeneous  nation and the minorities residing on this earth have equal rights...
Agreed...
But,
Has this same been applicable in case of Kashmiri Pandits, who are in minority in Kashmir valley???
Has their interests and comforts been taken care of???
Has their emotions, livelihood and stability not gone for toss???
They have been driven out of their own homes, have had to let go their hard earned money  and status..
And
Most importantly, been victimised in the blood boiling terrors and appalling horrendous assaults on their womenfolk and kids...
Still,
the media and activists indict predicament of Muslims in Gujarat!!!
There has been NOT A SINGLE riot occurrence in Gujarat in past 10 years and both the communities who were sufferers in the post Godhra riots have moved on and flourished.
The plight of these Kashmiri Pandits has only worsened.
Driven away from their own homes, generation has passed and they are rotting in the refugee camps and streets!!!
Has Teesta’s swallowed her own spit???
or
There is chilly water flowing in her veins than blood???

The unstoppable Gujarat...

The Gujarat Govt. and Shri Narendra Modi is on unstoppable spree of development... on the Sanand branch canal of Narmada Yojna, Photo Voltaic Panels have been arranged in 730 meters length and about 1 mega watt Solar energy has been created. All together 38 canals covering 2538 km. is going to be built under the Narmada Yojna. 29 branch canals have already been built, which is estimated to be 2000 km. About 5112 km. long sub canal or distribution canals are in pipeline. Out of this, on 4000 km canals, in 35% or 1400 km. area, setting up Solar PV panels is technically feasible and that would generate 2000 mega watt Solar Energy. If on this 1400 km. area, comes under PV panels, annually 500 to 600 lakh squaremeter, river water can be saved from evaporating. The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd [GSECL], which has initiated 1 mega watt Solar project on Sanand Branch canal at Chandrasan in Kadi. The cost of this project is estimated to be 17.5 crores and that would produce 4383.56 units daily or 16 lakh units per annum. Mother India is a treasure land gifted by mother nature and utilizing its splinters to its optimum yet saving it in abundance for future is the precise way of existing in the fast paced era of today.... And, Modi Govt. is doing the same....

The Right to Education.. how much it is valid in reality???

Hon. Supreme Court has recently, rewarded the Indian people with the law named RIGHT TO EDUCATION... On larger perspective, the law appears to be a boon to economically backward classes and surely the people belonging to lower income starta, would be elated . In return, UPA Govt. would earn those browny points in form of votes and fulfill the motive behind “gifting” this unrealistic law... The UPA Govt. when it was re-elected in 2009, presented this law. For once, even if we presume that it was enacted to just and just abolish the inequality in the opportunity to gain education, in reality it lacks to serve its objectives... To understand and believe that the UPA Govt. enacted this law and the Hon. SC sanctioning it would hardly provide the private school educational facilities to students of lower income families. There are numerous hurdles on this path and one of it is the Govt. himself.. According to one of the surveys, if each child of the lower income group is to be educated in the private schools free of cost, then the Govt. would have to shell out 2.3 lakh crores. At present, the Govt. is spending 21,000 crores every year. under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan...which is even not benefitting the people. In 2009, when the HRD Minister Shri Kapil Sibbal stated that more 5 lakhs teachers are necessary to endow with good education to the children. The education level in Municipal and govt. schools is diminishing every day. Thus, the numbers of students are descending every day and unless the financial compulsion prevents one, people prefer providing education to their children in non-granted private schools. But, To overcome this loophole, the solution is not in transferring the encumber to the private schools as there are plenty of other hindrances.. Dwelling further, one realizes that the private schools, which would be compelled to provide 25% seats to lower income groups, will either have to decrease their profit ratio or shift the burden of their loss in income to the other middle income students as they would be tempted to procure it from them.. The priority hitch is that the teachers of govt and municipal schools generally have lots of disinterest in imparting education and taking pro-active interest in growth of students. Even in cases where the equipments like Computers, Tablets or laptops are provided under certain schemes to the students but are not utilized to its optimum due to lack of trained teaching staff. Another major obstacle is regarding psychological stress that would be suffered by the underprivileged children. In the race of turning them into at par with privileged students or lets eradicate the term “privileged” and term them as students belonging to middle and upper income groups. It may sound as prescriber of principal of equality, but in actuality, the Vitamin M flowing away, in creating projects, for picnics and parties would turn into impediment to those 25% of students studying in private schools. Not to mention the lifestyle lived by the fellow students of private schools and the stress created due to incapability of following the same..The gap between the students would widen instead of narrowing down when the respective children would open their tiffins...!!! This law provides for advantage to children of 6 to 14 years of age, generally, a child comes in std 10th, at the age of 15 and that is an important junction of his career. If this facility is not provided beyond age 14, how does a child, who has gained education from the proficient private schools, can afford to receive higher education at reasonable rate??? The ideal solution to this problem does not lie in providing 25% seats in private schools and coercing them to feel out of place as well as stressful or to improve the education amenities in the municipal or govt. run schools??? The additional benefit would be that it would be able to progress the lives of not only the 25% but also the rest 75%.. And, That is called inclusive education... When late Shri M.C. Chagla was a Education Minister in 1964, he had remarked, “The creators of our Constitution never wished that just by constructing the school building, their task was over. A school with non-efficient teaching staff, incorrect syllabus, lack of play grounds does not serve our purpose and just by providing this we can not justify the fulfillment of Article 45...” The Golden words are coming alive it seems...

The Whiteness of Colgat getting stained by Coalgate Scam by none other than Hon. P.M.

The hugest tragedy of the recent times are not appearance of various scams and scandles…
Nor it is occerance of colossal corruptions..
For, they are the outcome of yet another dreadful event..
And,
The event is, unmistakably the coming to power of UPA in 2009.
The Comptroller and Auditor General Office [CAG] has blasted a fresh bomb. The shock of2-G Spectrum scam is yet to be absorbed.
And,
The new earthquake has hit the economy of the nation.According to the reports of CAG, due to the policy of the current UPA Govt. which did not permit the auction of Coal, has cost the union Govt. Rs. 10.7 lakh crores…
The Man Mohan Singh Govt. tried to savage itself by announcing that this report of CAG, is not final but unfortunately, CAG’s statement claiming this report to be final has brought the Govt. in a soup.
When we talk of Colgate, we visualize its Whiteness, but this Coalgate has created a Black and dark bloat on the prestige of Govt. that is unlikely to be eradicated.
India can boast of the largest reserves of Coal, yet Indian Govt. regularly has to import huge amount of coal to creat Thermal energy. Neither the industries are empowered with substantial stock of coal.
In Spectrum scam, A. Raja distributed licenses to private operators on first cum first bases, without auctioning it. In the similar manner, at a fixed price, the Govt. sold the stock of Coal to certain private as well as public operators.
The difference between Spectrum scam and Coalgate scam are: Firstly, the Spectrum scam dealt with licenses of 2G, which after the order from the Hon. Supreme Court, has been revoked. Thus, the loss, definitely huge, but has been retracted to dwell further. Where as, Coal, is such a natural resource of the nation that once it has been exhausted, is irrevocable. The loss caused by selling it to private companies is permanent. Secondly, in Spectrum scam, the central character was A. Raja.. A minister but in Coalgate scam, hugely unfortunately for the nation, it is the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Man Mohan Singh, himself. Broadcasting on a massive scale, that the country is on the path of Power Emergency, the PMO took the control of the Coal ministry under its own belt.
According to the reports of CAG, the 155 mines of Coal that the country has, were passed off to the 100 odd private and public enterprises, to create power at negligible price. These companies create electricity with using coal and sell to the consumer at a higher rate, thus generating gigantic profit. When the private enterprises acquired licenses of coal mining, certain foreign companies too, jumped into it. They too, purchased shares of the companies acquiring mining license.
Coal India is an organization that owns the monopoly of coal mining in India. Any private operator that wishes to buy Coal, has to procure it from Coal India. Some time ago, Coal India increased the rate of Coal and these private companies created a boom rang and appealed to the PMO. The PMO intervened and compelled the Coal India to decrease the price rise. Then the new policy proclaiming the surfacing of Power emergency, was created which allotted the coal stocks to private agencies without procuring any tenders or doing auction. The British Company TCI , threatened to take Coal India to court, for creating losses.
After China and USA, India is the third largest country that produces Coal. The Central Govt. owned enterprise Coal India, is the largest company that produces coal in the world. Last year, it produced mammoth production of 44 crore tones. As this coal ministry is directly under the Prime Minister, the entire power regarding the same lies in his hands. The Principal Secretary of the PMO, Shri Pullock Chaterjee pressurized the public sector company Coal India, to pull off the their price rise and to get into an agreement with 100 enterprises for 20 years.
The Central Govt. ownes 90% shares of Coal India, where as 10% shares are owned by private companies. These private companies have complained that the Central Govt. is creating losses for Coal India. There is fear that these private companies might sue Govt. for the losses.
But,
Does it matter to the Hon. Prime Minister???
For all these years, that Shri Manmohan Singh has remained in power, the myth prevailed that he is a non-corrupt man.
What is corruption???
To take the bribe with your own two hands or your own involvement? Is that sufficient example of corruption? Suresh Kalmadi, A. Raja or Kanimozi have been charged for the akin acts and they are themselves paying for it.
But,
Being a mere spectator to the to the corruption crime is no less an offence. Sadly, our Hon. P.M. has adopted the role of Mahatma Gandhi’s Teen Bundars.’Bura mat dekho’, ‘Bura mat suna’ and ‘Bura mat bolo’..
And,
He coolly watches the one after the other scams happening.
It is heartbreaking to comment in harsh words for the person sitting in the Hon. Prime Minister’s chair and only due to the respect for the chair, one restrains one’s self from condemning and criticizing the person sitting in the honorable post.
But,
Now,
It seems even Shri Singh has blackened his hands in Coal gate Scam.

The breaking news and appeasement...

The Jaipur Literature fair has turned into the ‘Talk of Town’...It sounds appealing that literature is being talked about. Firstly, it is the visit of Opraha but more importantly or rather sensationally it is on the ban on the visit of Salman Rushdee, a Booker prize winner writer, born in Mumbai, India but now is based in U.K.
The ‘Freedom of Speech’ is a complex theory. Basically, it implies to freedom in expression of thoughts.
But,
Many a times, banning a book leads to banning the person. Salman Rushdie has written number of other books and actually Setanic Verses is not one of his best writings. Nor has he won the Booker’s prize for it. He has also written a beautiful book called The children of Midnight.
Agreed,
The Setanic Verses, has hurt the religious beliefs of the followers of Islam.
But,
Is it acceptable to ban the person who has written lots of other books and added colossal literature. The book has been banned that ignited the devout values of Muslims. Why ban the person from presenting his other creation???
Is it not height of appeasement???

Why this differentiated treatment among the citizens of the same nation?

Last month me and my husband were holidaying in Goa... Staying in South Goa at Benaulim beach, Goa was awesome. Beach was about a kilometer away from the R.C.I. resort were we were staying. It was fun walking up and down to beach atleast thrice a day...
Goa, a tourist paradise and especially, the heaven for travelers from all over the world, has also turned out to be the bliss for business. Clothes and hats and footwear and bags and jewellery and knick-knacks are all sold in plenty and the typical markets of holiday spots are fun to shop and roam around.
But,
The new addition among this growing market culture is Kashmiri shops. Every nook and corner has a Kashmiri products on display and sell. Beautiful Kashmiri carpets and delicate gems and jewellery, intricate embroidered kurtas and kaftans and ever so beautiful Pashminas are eye catching and attractive. The Kashmiris live peacefully and contentedly way away from their homes.
And...
The Kashmiris live peacefully and contentedly way away from their homes. Their businesses are flourishing. It is a pleasant sign to see a Kashmiris mingling with the other Indians...
But
It is equally painstaking to note that the way Kashmiris with poise, have shifted their base to earn and settle in any part of India, the rest of the Indian citizens, like all of us, does not have the liberty to do so... If the Kashmiris can roam around anywhere and everywhere to earnand grow, why we the rest of the Indian are not permitted to move to their land and settle??? Why the rules differ??? Had it been the comparison between other lands, the story could be slightly variable but this is the saga of Kashmiris living in any other part of this nation and we are not allowed to make Kashmir our home???
Pity, who got this Article 370???
And,
What for???
