The Bharat Bandh on 31st May, for the people, by the people...

Burning question that is skipping the heartbeat of every Indian is the rocketing price rise. Price rise has become so acute in last five years, that if the same continues, entire economy would be paralyzed and this paralysis could lead to Civil war. Day in and day out, the price of basic commodities has been shooting upwards, no matter whether the rainfall increases or the agricultural output is ascending. The poor distribution system along with mammoth corruption causes unavailability of essential goods for common man. These shortages of necessity products are accompanied by rise in petroleum products, agricultural goods and related basic indispensable items and thus creating havoc in the lives of people of the country.
The comparison of certain basic good’s price in 2004 under NDA Govt. and in 2009 and 2012 under current UPA Govt. would throw light on colossal increase in cost of essential items. The Petrol which was 33.15 Rs. Per liter in 2004 had become 44.60 Rs. in 2009 and has eventually turned to 78.60 Rs. Recently, after the current rise of 7.50 Rs. That is 137% steep rise. Similarly, price of Diesel which was Rs. 22.50 per liter in 2004, turned into 34.50 Rs. In 2009 and now it has become 45.30 Rs!!! The cost of cooking gas, another essential for day to day survival used to cost Rs. 244 per cylinder but in 2004, its price had shoot up to Rs. 312 and in 2009 Rs. 450 per cylinder. The rise of 84%...
Petrol is a perishable commodity. After certain years, it’s bound to be exhausted. Thus, rise in its price is inevitable sometime or other but the price of Crude in international market has increased in limited quantum and this situation of rise in Crude can be controlled by decreasing the tax as well as vat and its benefits can be passed on to the consumer. The rise in price in international market for Crude has caused such devastating effect on Indian economy but the same has not affected the Petrol prices of our neighboring nations.  In  Pakistan, cost of Petrol is Rs. 59 [19.57 Rs. Less than India], In Sri Lanka, it is Rs. 61.70 [Rs. 16.87 less], In Bangladesh, Rs. 43.40 [Rs. 35.17 less]... In developed Countries like USA, the cost of Petrol is Rs. 53.70 [Rs. 24.87 less] and in Russia, it is Rs. 50.20 [Rs. 23.87 less] These entire survey proves that the intention of UPA Govt. at center lacks the initiative for welfare of common beings of the country. It is essential that the central govt. cuts down on its tax revenue and pass this advantage to the commoners of India, mainly the middle and upper middle class. During the rule of Shri A.B. Vajpayee, the same ‘revenue neutral’ system was adopted.
But,
Not only the sheer rise in price of Petroleum products is a cause of deep concern. It is poking sharply in people’s soul coz the unparallel increase in basic food items has turned the taste of morsel completely bitter. Wheat, Rice, Sugar, Tea, Ghee, Oil, different dals such as Toor, Mong, Chana, Jaggery and Besan comprises of staple diet of an average Indian. The price of each of these products have recorded minimum of 100 to 233% of rise in its cost as compared to prices in 2004.Vegetables And Milk have not been left behind. The price of Milk which was 14 Rs, per liter in 04 has shoot up to 36 Rs. Per liter, rise by 157%!!! The vegetable’s prices have almost doubled!!!
All these steep and sharp price rise causes huge jolt in people’s lives. The entire society will have to raise their voice against this daily calamities forced upon them. It is the common man condemning and fighting vehemently to allow them better and reasonable standard of living, would create a hell of difference and alter the situation planted on them. The political parties, especially the opposition will take the lead but the final blow to this heartless Govt. lies in the hands of every common man. Remember, not voting in the election to project your protest against this inefficient Govt. is not the solution as it would enable the incompetents to regain power, as they hail on the votes of lower classes, whom they please with bundles of green currency.
Thus,
It is the middle and upper middle class which has to take the lead...
Its now or never...

What is a Solar City?
The Solar City aims at minimum 10% reduction in projected demand of conventional energy at the end of five years, through a combination of enhancing supply from renewable energy sources in the city and energy efficiency measures. [source]
The basic aim is to motivate the local Governments for adopting renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures. In a Solar City all types of renewable energy based projects like solar, wind, biomass, small hydro, waste to energy etc. are installed along with possible energy efficiency measures depending on the need and resource availability in the city.
In the process of creating Gandhinagar as Solar city, SOLAR ROOF TOP POLICY has been adopted. In recently concluded  Indian Solar Investment and Technology Summit,  at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, a unique initiative has been implemented. On the roof tops of private and Government buildings, solar plants will be set up and solar power would be generated from it. 2 companies would be generating 5 mega watt solar energy and the owners offering roof tops for solar energy creation would be rewarded with Rs. 3 per unit for 25 years by the companies.
Under the Roof top policy, Sun Addition and Assyour has signed MOU’s with Gujarat Govt. and will be creating 2.5 mega watt power each. Torrent Power Company will be buying the created energy.
Dr. Jivraj Mehta Bhavan or more popularly known as Old  Sachivalay, is to have 1 megawatt plant activated. More than 60 constructions  would be brought under Roof Top Solar Energy Project in Gandhinagar. Out of which, 80% would be Govt. buildings where as 20% would be privately owned. The minimum required area to lay the Solar panel is 2000 square feet.
After the Gandhinagar turns into Solar City, the next in the queue are Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara and Bhavnagar.
And,
The unstoppable Modi Govt. in Gujarat is on the path of creating “Solar Gujarat”...

22 years after the ethnic cleansing in Kashmir valley, 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits are yet to return to their homes. Leave alone their return to teh valley, nobody even talks about this issue
There has been continuous focus on the plight of Muslims in the camps in Gujarat, there has been total indifference and unconcern on the conditions faced by Kashmiri Pandits uprooted and rendered homeless/helpless living in refugee camps in Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai...
Its an old saga that occurred in 1989-90 and for more than two decades these residents of the “heaven on earth”, are living the lives of hell.
The constant fear and shivering under their spine, to save their kith and kin from calamities of attacks, bombarding, rap has rendered the inhabitant of the valley refugees in their own motherland...
Numerous times, an argument is put forward that India is culturally heterogeneous  nation and the minorities residing on this earth have equal rights...
Agreed...
But,
Has this same been applicable in case of Kashmiri Pandits, who are in minority in Kashmir valley???
Has their interests and comforts been taken care of???
Has their emotions, livelihood and stability not gone for toss???
They have been driven out of their own homes, have had to let go their hard earned money  and status..
And
Most importantly, been victimised in the blood boiling terrors and appalling horrendous assaults on their womenfolk and kids...
Still,
the media and activists indict predicament of Muslims in Gujarat!!!
There has been NOT A SINGLE riot occurrence in Gujarat in past 10 years and both the communities who were sufferers in the post Godhra riots have moved on and flourished.
The plight of these Kashmiri Pandits has only worsened.
Driven away from their own homes, generation has passed and they are rotting in the refugee camps and streets!!!
Has Teesta’s swallowed her own spit???
or
There is chilly water flowing in her veins than blood???

The unstoppable Gujarat...

The Gujarat Govt. and Shri Narendra Modi is on unstoppable spree of development... on the Sanand branch canal of Narmada Yojna, Photo Voltaic Panels have been arranged in 730 meters length and about 1 mega watt Solar energy has been created. All together 38 canals covering 2538 km. is going to be built under the Narmada Yojna. 29 branch canals have already been built, which is estimated to be 2000 km. About 5112 km. long sub canal or distribution canals are in pipeline. Out of this, on 4000 km canals, in 35% or 1400 km. area, setting up Solar PV panels is technically feasible and that would generate 2000 mega watt Solar Energy. If on this 1400 km. area, comes under PV panels, annually 500 to 600 lakh squaremeter, river water can be saved from evaporating. The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd [GSECL], which has initiated 1 mega watt Solar project on Sanand Branch canal at Chandrasan in Kadi. The cost of this project is estimated to be 17.5 crores and that would produce 4383.56 units daily or 16 lakh units per annum. Mother India is a treasure land gifted by mother nature and utilizing its splinters to its optimum yet saving it in abundance for future is the precise way of existing in the fast paced era of today.... And, Modi Govt. is doing the same....
