Nari Shakti ko Salaam.. Swarnimsiddhi-27.

Namaste..
This is my 27th comprehension of Swarnimsiddhi.
And,
In my journey to depict the colossal magnitude of various efforts ceaselessly undertaken by Shri Narendra Modiji’s Gujarat Govt. and the vision in regards to human resources development as well as economic progress that Shri Modiji envisaged in last ten years, has put Gujarat on a global note.
But,
My speed of my presentation is unable to reach the pace that he and his team Gujarat, is portraying to the world, in each field. Till I scuttle with yet another achievement, one more award is already won..
And,
Recently, his commitments and dedication has earned Gujarat prestigious awards. To top it all, the people of Gujarat have acknowledged Gujarat Govt.’s sincere toil to uplift their lives and presented their wholehearted verdict in recently concluded elections..
Today,
I present you an exceptional progress that had never been even thought of, so far in India..
Indian culture, especially the north and west Indian culture, has been pre-dominantly man oriented, since time immortal. Thus, it has remained a difficult task to seek fair play that is based on equality, in justice. Gujarat, till recently has moreover remained fairly backward in providing justice and the essential esteem to women folks of the society.
But,
Not any longer..
Due to sincere and constant efforts to spread education among females has initiated a strong and confident class of women, in Gujarat.
Earler, there used to be two ways of attaining justice.
1.The Caste Panchayat: Women is imparted with justice, in accordance with the prevailing customs and religious beliefs of the society she hails from. Such, Caste Panchayat is consisted of men of that particular society and the women have no representation. The concerned women, is also not allowed to be present there. Thus, she has no say in presenting her case and it is mandatory for her to obey the decision.
2.The general courts: Indian coinstitution has provided many laws and rulings to ensure required security of women...
But,
The rural uneducated women are unaware of such provisions. The entire process of seeking fair justice is apart from being expensive for non-earning women, is unfamiliar and abhorrent.
Thus, both these legal systems portray prejudiced expression to women’s troubles.
The Gujarat Govt. has initiated steps to overcome these biased roots and to secure justice, they have been offered analternative to achieve justice from Nari Adalat.. [Women’s Court]. This court was first established in Waghodia [Vadodara] in 1995.
But,
The usage was comparatively extremely low. The Gujarat Govt. and Shri Modiji, initiated womenfolks to seek justice from these courts.
In such courts, about 30-40 women constitute a group, who conduct the appeal, along with the other male representatives. The complaint women is encouraged to speak the complete truth, without ant hesitation. These courts provide the most fast paced, non-biased and non prejudiced verdict.
These courts have been progressed from the ‘Female Samakhya’ programme, which aims at promotin g the women to decide4 their agenda.
The justice provider women appear before court at pre-decided hour and mostly they are held in Govt. buildings, which conveys a message portraying it glance, a legal look. It is a free of cost service to be granted and the women offering justice, pays her own bus fare!!!
At the moment, there are 20 such courts running smoothly in Sabarkantha, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surendranagar and Panchmahal districts. Till recently, about 3,728 cases have been taken up by such courts. The cases includes Dowry, custody of child, divorce and physical assault within the family.
Thus, this unique feature adds one more feather in the crown of Shri Modiji’s Team Gujarat.
Vande Gujarat..
Vande Mataram..

The uncontrolled freedom can cause disharmony..

Indian cultural heritage dates back to the B.C. era. Innumerable dynasties and kingdoms have flourished on this pious soil. On its extreme North, the almighty has gifted this landmass with mountain king Himalayas and each direction has water body of oceans.. It has been a tradition of people living on this land, to accept and absorb. They never attack but only react [when necessary]..Thus, their magnificent monetary prosperity became envious site for world around.
And,
The same attracted followers of Islam.. First for grabbing the fruits of colossal economic opulence and then for mass conversion into Islamic fold, through force or fury..
The motives of Britishers were again gaining financial affluence and looting the wealth from this fertile terra firma.
But,
With them, came the spread of missionaries, who on first glance, portrayed themselves as honey-coated servants of God, whose solitary intention of life was, service for have nots..In reality, their service to the needy was not goalless. The mega aim of converting the financially depressed class, was the sole endeavor these missionaries possessed. [There may have been dedicated souls individually, but on the broad-spectrum, the service had to be paid, through conversion into Christian fold.
The Sanatan Dharma did not adhere to any such practice. In every which way, the Hindu way of life, depict tolerance.
Thus, when India became independent, in 1947, Indian constitution adopted the base of Democratic and liberal views, in various fundamental expressions. Of course, what was done with pure intentions of living in brotherhood, among different religions, has at many a times disastrous, because the Islamic religion, is not based on the devout chant of tolerance. They have partitioned the soil, on the basis of religious beliefs, to create their nation.
But,
In Indian democracy, every person residing as an official citizen, is the son/daughter of Mother India. The majority of population, has always demanded Common Civil Code, lending their hand of friendship, to every one of belonging to any religious or economic starta.
Indian constitution represents equality and freedom in variety of expressions. For. ex. Every Indian citizen, has a right to reside or buy as well as sell, property, anywhere on Indian soil..[of course, except, Kashmir, though officially it is an integral part of this nation and Indian Union Govt. provides it with innumerable financial help.]
In the similar manner, Indian Constitution has provision for Freedom of Speech.. implying that every citizen can express their views, fearlessly.
But,
every right is followed by duties. In the same way, the right to speak, has its own dutiful contributions. For every Indian citizen, the progress and security of his mother land is of primary importance. Any word of mouth that would tarnish the image and safety of the country and countrymen, has to be abandoned.
The Arundhutis of the world has to understand this in full and finally. By stating India, as an expansionist country [which is a folly by itself], she has defied her commitment towards the nation, she is citizen of.
Moreover, by igniting the matter, which already is on the fire, she has posed grave national security problems. When she has no authority to preside over the matter, she has gone and spoken words that would kill the sentiments of crores of Indians as well as squander the efforts of lakhs of army men and on top of all, destroy the mammoth labor that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, toiled for merging [and very much merging, whatever Omar Abdullah wishes to address it as...] of Harisingh’s Kashmir with India and create one nation.
It is essential for every creative person, may be a writer or a film maker, to follow the very basic principles that Country comes first!!! Much before personal aspirations and beliefs. If by spilling few unwanted lexis, the stateliness and dignity of the mother land is blemished, then the control over such Freedom of Expression, is a must..

The healthy Gujarat.. Food Fortification Project.. Swarnimsiddhi-26.

In the past, the people of Gujarat, especially the women folks and the children, suffered largely, of improper and insufficient diet. Among the socially and financially backward classes, the most prevalent sickness was Anemia. This anemic conditions were due to lack of healthy diet and availability and affordability of strength providing food. As a result, eventually the sufferer had to resort to absorbing expensive vitamin supplements, which caused a huge hole in people’s pockets.
The realization regarding this awareness against healthy food began in 2005. From January 2005 to 2007, various programmes about this , were planned. Through seminars and alertness, a simplest solution of adding Iron supplements, to food products was projected. These programmes were hugely successful and they were conducted on a public-private partnership. Many known personalities have been part of such projects.
Gujarat Govt. and the Hon. C.M. sensed the urgent need to create a generation of healthy and strong citizens and to put this into action, he inspired the private corporate to raise a hand of aiding the concerned project.
The Gujarat Roller Floor Miller Association, assisted Gujarat Govt. Micronutrient Initiatives [Canada and India]Wheat Production Promotion Society of India and the Chemical and Engineering Industries to get this project in the action.
The first phase of the scheme included buying the raw-material at the reasonable rate, providing technical assistance etc. The state Govt. provides 50% concession to the floor mills, for the materials to be added in the floor as well oil.
In the first phase, the Govt. resolute to prepare the 2.5 lakhs ton Wheat floor and add Iron Folic Acid prepared by the Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. The healthy Wheat Floor would be marketed at 10 kg. package, with a health trade mark on it. Every kilo of wheat would contain 30 miligrames of Iron and Folic Acid added to it.
In the intial stage, the state Govt. began distributing this healthy wheat supplemented floor to the ration card holders in the Fair Price Shops.
After successfully implementing this mega project in the open market, the state Govt. planned to execute this plan in the Hospitals, Jail, Hostels, Ashram and such institutes, Mid-day meal scheme etc. on a grand scale.
To unearth, the outcome of this healthy Wheat scheme, the Sports Authority of Gujarat, had arranged a programme in March 2006. The sports person of different financial backgrounds and belonging to different sports were included for sampling. Out of the 19 people [men and women], it was revealed that after using the Fortified Floor, their level of Hemoglobin had risen considerably. Their input, physical capacity and level of energy increased greatly.
As this initiatives by Gujarat Govt. turned out to be highly successful, the UN WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME, decided to provide aid to this scheme, where as the Punjab and Haryana Govt. invited the officials of Gujaarat to prepare such samplings.
The Gujarat State Rationing Dept. distributes 50,000 matrix ton of such Fortfied floor where as the entire usage of wheat is about 3 lakhs tones.
In January 2007, the different Oil Mills of the state, Refiner and Packers prepared about 9,02,259 m. tones of Oil, adding this fortified supplements.
The progress of Gujarat is not lopsided, avoiding or overlooking the healthyness of the common men residing there. It is inclusive and promotes the development of health and wealth simultaneously.
For Shri Narendra Modiji, the well being of the citizens of Gujarat, is at the top of his priority...

The double standards.. Why?

The dreamland of India.. The city that is imagined to be the’Shanghai of India’..
A few years back, the Hon. P.M. and the Hon. C.M. of Maharashtra, Mr. Ashok Chavan, had proposed and dreamt and stated that Mumbai was on its way to become as developed and planned and systemized like Shanghai of China..
The days and years passed by..
But,
The Govt. probably forgot about the idea or got severly confused and Mumbai has turned into something else.. A gargage full of roads and constant traffic jams, even in the smallest of bylane with no control of noise pollution, as Mumbai is a metropolice, [good enough] and every caste, creed, religion and nationality living here have independence to perform their religious and social celebrations in this democratic country...!!!
But,
The democracy to be enjoyed by a common man, to reside and move about peacefully has been endangered. I, absolutely do not mean that the freedom to be themselves for citizen of this city be paralysed...
But,
I, in my heart in heart, sense that why this different parameters are being used, in conducting different celebrations. The early morning Azaan is allowed, with no control over the noise level, in the wee hours of the dawn, but the Navratri festival, which is no longer solely Gujarat’s festival has to undergo mindless time limits, which in city life of Mumbai is practically not permitted. How does a human being, working in the town side, can ever reach his/her residence, get freshened up and attend the Navratri festival starting at 7 p.m? By the time, he or she can get over with work and daily chorus, in Mumbai lives, the mikes have to be off by 10 p.m. It is completely absurd and day by day, the festivity is forcefully bunged by far too many. Sadly, to say, the rules regarding noise pollution do not apply early in the morning, for Azaan, meaning it is not disturbing!!! if that is the reason employed in its favor!!!
Navratri is one festival, enjoyed by young, old and every Indian.. It does not belong to Gujarat alone.. Durga Pooja is celebrated ever so enthusiastically by people from Bengal, too.
If the Govt. of Maharashtra, is completely democratic in nature, it should have maintained the equilibrium in sensibility..
But,
What do you expect from followers of appeasement policies and vote bank politics?

Welcoming the new arrivals with open arms.. Chiranjeevi Yojna. Swarnimsiddhi-25.

Every year, the world over, the death rate among the pregnant women has been about 5 lakhs per year and out of that, almost 1,36,000 take place in India.
In 2005, the infant death rate in Gujarat was 64 out of 100 children born and was 389 among the women. The prime cause behind this high death rate has been due to lack of sufficient infrastructure available for socially and economically backward classes.
The Gujarat Govt. inaugurated the ‘Chiranjeevi yojna’ in 2005. Under which, the families below poverty line are included for attaining the facilities of finances and social aids as their means are insufficient.
The Govt. cracks a deal with the private Gynecologists to provide necessary aids of every kind to the pregnant women living under BPL.
Originally, this scheme was initiated in Banaskantha, Dahod, Kutch, Panchmahal and Sabarkantha in December 2005. The total population of these five districts was 105 lakhs and 73% were living under BPL. About 1,10,000 deliveries took place every year. Under this Yojna, in the first year itself, about 2518 complicated cases and 1502 LSCS were included, out of 31,641 total number of deliveries.
At the time of making a agreement, the basic amount of 25,000 Rs. was given to the concerned Gynecologist. The pregnant women were not to pay. A Sewa Pack was established which incorporated the check-up fees, ultra sonography fees and the travelling expense along with a companion for during the pregnancy months. The District Health Officer was in-charge of incorporating this entire Yojna. Each doctor on panel required to maintain complete file of concerned case. The private practioner, on panel sends the reports to the health officer of Districts and the private doctors impart their service free of cost. Now, this scheme has been adopted by every districts of the state.
The BPL families are given vouchers and BPL cards. They can visit any doctor on the panel and obtain service, with no monetary payments. The package also includes the post delivery medication as well as travelling cost. Thus, with high rate of success to this Yojna, the Govt. has integrated the entire Gujarat state to be facilitated by this scheme.
About 80.2% of total BPL women, have registered with this Yojna.
Due to the Sewa Packaging under this Yojna, the rate of Ceasarian, has dropped down drastically from 15% to 4.7%
The Private specialists, have imparted their service on a large scale. Out of 1800 such doctors, 801 have been part of this Yojna and they have conducted 95066 deliveries. Thus, this Yojna has been the cause of amalgamation of hi-fi specialists imparting their valuable know-how to the socially and financially down-troddens.
The state expenditure, till 2007 was 154.30 lakhs .
Uttarakhand, Delhi and West Bengal have taken initiatives to adopt such measures, taking an example from Gujarat. The infant death rate which was 64 and pregnant women death rate which was 389 in 2005, have decreased to 54 and 172, respectively.
The CHIRANJEEVI YOJNA has received Asian Innovation Award from Global Antrepolice, Singapore.
Thus, every child is welcomed with love and affection and necessary care by the visionary C.M. Shri Narendra Modiji...
Vande Gujarat.

The non-appeasement policy of Shri Narendra Modi wins laurels..

The bubble of allegory has burst..
For innumerable years, Congress and all the other parties, who claimed to be shouldering the responsibilities of nurturing the minorities and thus contending over their votes, transferring those minorities into their vote banks, have been shown their deserved place, by none other than the minorities themselves.
A large number of Muslims have voted for Shri Narendra Modi’s BJP in Gujarat. Not only once, but again and again. Actually, the trend had begun on a slighter scale, during the 2007 Vidhan Sabha polls of Gujarat. I, myself have come across, people belonging to Muslim community, who have voted for BJP candidates, for the simple reason of mammoth economic and civic development presented by Modiji’s Gujarat Govt. in those 5 years of rule. [2002-2007] and mind well, the development opportunities were absolutely unbiased, presenting every citizen an equal chance to grow themselves.. Thus, the Muslims progressed financially as well as their security was ensured to cent percent as no riots took place in those 5 years. [and, none has taken place since then..]
What is the basic need for a person to grow?
Ample of evenhanded opportunities to grow economically as well as secured social and civic life.
Shri Modiji strived to provide every citizen, an immense prospects to prosper, by his Good Governance.
And,
Thus, the Muslims living in Gujarat, flourished immensely.. [Read Sachar Committee report, by ex. Chief Justice Shri R. Sachar, the committee which was appointed by none other than the Hon. P.M.]
Then during the Kathlal [Nadiad district] by-election in September 2010, the seat which belonged to Congress since the advent of Gujarat state, was won by BJP, with a whopping margin of 21,500 votes where the Muslim votes changed the scenario.
Then, immediately following the Corporation Election of six Mahanagarpalikas, confirmed this trend of awakening among Muslim voters.
In recently concluded elections, 25 to 30% Muslim votes have been in favor of BJP. The motivation behind this shift is completely based on non-partial conduct by Gujarat Govt. where in reality, the Muslims are treated at par with Hindus, to be precise, both are treated as Indian citizens and no special favor is granted to any of them. Neither the Hindu is presented with higher opportunities, nor the Muslim with more grants and extra subsidies. The only module is growth, which Shri Modiji has imparted ceaselessly.
And,
At last but not the least, the Muslims in Gujarat have turned into a loyal citizen from being a votebank, where in they were used to be in power, mainly by money power of a few hundred rupees at the time of election or subvention that completely killed their equilibrium of development, living them backward socially and educationally and as a result financially.
But,
Why would Congress care?
They had successfully created this façade of minority savior and eventually turning them into a herd of vote bank to be in power.
But,
The committed and consistent efforts with pure conscience acted as an eye-opener for Muslims and slowly they observed the change in their lives.
And,
They replied strappingly through the medium of casting their votes in favor of the one who has presented them with esteemed position.
In recently concluded elections, my very close friend, who was contesting from Vadodara, came across an incidence, where her panel [in Gujarat, not a single candidate contests but a panel of three, where in a seat for one woman is reserved] was requested vehemently by the Muslim group of that area, to convey their promise of supporting the BJP. They voiced that at the time of every elections, Congress sheds a few hundred rupees to them, in the pretext of buying their votes and they oblige.
But,
Later, the Congress representative is never present to solve their numerous problems and they have none to turn to. The few rupees last for a fewer days and they continue with their basic miseries as their self elected representative would not be available till the next elections, with again a few hundreds!!! It’s a miserable state to be in. Thus, they wished to let go of the money paid by Congress and vote for the party which imparted equal growth and equal status.
And,
The entire population of six Mahanagarpalikas of Gujarat have replied robustly in favor of the party and leader that has given them growth of the highest order.
Out of the total number of voting, 80% of votes have been in favor of BJP. Out of 550 seats contested, 442 won by BJP and 99 by Congress...
Thumbs down Congress and their appeasement tactics...

The roads that led to prosperity. Pragatipath Yojna. Sw

Gujarat, my native state, in my memory as a kid, was envisaged as a dusty and rural, with lack of concrete roads and connectivity.
And,
I hated going there.
Today, I hate coming back from there.
Same is the case with great number of people, who once step their feet on the soil of Gujarat, gets so engrossed in the ever-growing development in every sphere, that one gets captivated in the scale of progress growing around.
In 2001, Shri Narendra Modi’s Govt. came into power on October 7th for the first time and since then no major sphere of development has been left untouched. The visionary C.M. foresaw the necessity of mammoth network of road connectivity within the state to bring about the social as well as financial growth. Gujarat, being industrially inclined state, the smooth connectivity of industries with the market place was of prime importance. The availability of industrial raw material and trans-corporation in large scale, attracts the mega corporate to invest here. Thus, the accessibility of far away industrial sites from the market place as well as ports and station becomes qui-essential.
The Gujarat Govt. implemented the ‘Pragatipath Yojna’ in 2004, which initiated linking Tribal belts, Industrial, Coastal and Rural roads to be connected with the main roads of the states. The prime motive behind executing this project has been broadening of high speed nine corridors, containing 3,710 km. of length. Out of which, 2,636 km. of national as well state highway has been upgraded. 1,074 km. of state highway, has been undertaken for up gradation. The entire yojna, which started in 2005 coasted about 25 billion Rs.
In phase 1,
This phase came under operation, in 2005-06. The expenditure amounted to Rs. 1615 lakhs and it developed 370 km.
In phase 2,
This came under operation in 2006-07. The expenditure amounted to Rs. 869 millions, which constituted the development of 153.90 km. in 8 districts.
The rest of the 571 km. were developed by private funding and its length was accumulated in the State Hihghway development project.
The gains...
1.This connectivity enabled the tribal belts, coastal areas, industrial townships and rural land to be efficiently connected with the farthest area of the state.
2.The ports, industries, agricultural products and the tribal belts have been presented wit accessibility and opportunity to grow. This connectivity also projects connecting of North-South, as well as West-East high speed corridors.
3. The travelling time has gone down considerably.
4. The roads of Gujarat have become an attraction to encourage people to invest in every which way in the state, bringing in more and more investment.
Thus, the ‘Makkhan Roads’ as they are known by visitors have become a proposition that Gujarat and every Gujarati can boast of. To site an example, A friend of mine, belonging to Television Industry of Mumbai, happened to travel through Gujarat by road, in his journey to Delhi, while passing through Gujarat roadways, he was so overwhelmed [well. he has travelled by road to most of the part of the country and lives in Mumbai, thus acquainted with the condition of Maharashtra roads!!!] that when Gujarat border ended, he got off the car, bow down to the butter like roads of Gujarat with folded hands and chanting Shri Modiji’s name with a big thank you in his heart..
The Gujarat roads, have carved its way in bringing about gargantuan growth of the state.
Vande Gujarat.

Rahul shows his Gandhi colour

The Congi Yuvraj...

well, he is just a crown prince of undemocratic Congress {I} and absolutely not of sovereign republic of Mother India. God alone knows, why the Congressmen are handicapped and spineless to be able to think beyond Nehru-Gandhi offspring and why do they feel honored licking the feet of uncultured and uninformed man, whose only credential is being born in that family. This prince of Congress party has exposed his uncouth mentality.

The Congress culture can go to any extent in two matters.
1. Appeasing Muslims and of course not out of any love lost for them but in fear of losing their vote bank.
2. In abusing RSS.

Now that their popularity is conclusively diminished due to unimaginable price rise, unabashed corruption and anti-indian economic policies, their crown prince has resorted to the only option he has known since the days of his great granpa,to spit un-instigated, ill-informed and uncalled for venom against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

A person who possesses mindset to weigh- a confirmed, rather acclaimed terrorist outfit such as SIMI and well-honored social organization such as RSS in one scale has to be completely unaware of the unbiased and humane services performed, without differentiating between caste, class or creed in the innumerable natural calamities like Andhra Pradesh cyclone or Latur and Kutch earthquake or collapse of Macchu dam in Morbi. The swayamsevaks of RSS have never projected any kind of discrimination based on religion while performing their duties. They have ceaselessly devoted themselves with dedication of mind, money, soul and body for the uplifting of the catastrophe-stuck area. Thus, this poisonous statement from Rahul ‘Baba’ portrays his thoughtless schooling, [Sanskar, to be precise] or the endeavor to appease Muslims..

Total thumbs down to Rahul Gandhi.... Who has the audacity to emit absolutely disrespectful bunch of words for RSS and moreover, putting it in the same boat as SIMI. Can he please expose the incidences of terrorism that RSS has been involved in? Except Pragnya Singh Case, there has been not even a charge sheet filed against RSS and mind well, even Sadhvi Pragnya Singh’s case is not been proved.
The further sorry state of affair is that other Congress leaders like Digvijay ‘parrot’ singh affirm the coarse behavior of a Gandhi, without applying their minds
or
The entire Congress has collectively lost it?

The constant source of energy that has lit up lives of Gujarat's every household..Jyortigrgram Yojna.Swarnimsiddhi-23.

The growth of qualitative standard of human lives is of primary importance, for the progress of any nation. For achieving this augmentation, it is utmost important to develop our rural areas. The economist in Mahatma Gandhi, too, had advocated this requirement as the ‘need of the hour’, to impede the migration of citizens from their native villages to urban areas, creating extra burden on cities and towns and villages turning more and more barren.
People settled in rural areas, voyage to nearby and sometime far off cities and towns, in need of opportunity to generate money. As the result, the families were breaking down in rural areas and those having been compelled to shift to urban areas were living a non-fulfilling emotional as well as non-hygenic physical lives. To eradicate such miseries suffered by people, the action in necessary direction was inevitable. The Hon. C.M. of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi, diagnosed the anguish that was experienced by people and decided to put into action, the plan of surgery.
Shri Modiji promulgated the plan to create a RURBAN ECONOMY. An economy that would be a progressive combination of rural as well as urban areas and which would promote every facility, of urbanization in villages.
The basic dictate, needed to impart this Golden situation would be availability of constant electric supply, which would encourage people to not migrate to urban areas but be provided with the similar facilities at their door step. The availability of three phase electric supply to farms as well as other small scale industries facilitated them to create more input and extract still more output.
The creation of Jyotirgram Yojna, in Gujarat has worked as a magic wand in the exemplary development achieved by the state. Apart from accomplishing economic development, maintaining the equilibrium between the social fabric of family lives has also been attained.
Jyotirgram Yojna, was initiated in 2003, on a trial base. and it was completed in March 2006. Now, it has been transformed in most parts of the state. About 18,065 rural areas and 9,681 suburbs were the recipient through this plan. The expense was estimated to be 12,000 crores and the entire sum was provided by the Gujarat Govt. About 56,599 km. of fresh pipe lines and 1,262 new transformers were created. The entire creation of this mega project occurred in the record time of 30 months.
The pipe lines for agricultural usage and non-agricultural usage have been split. This Yojna also controls the pilfering of electricity..
The supply was initially divided between two different sectors.
1.Agricultural
and
2.Commorcial, Industrial and household.
The agricultural users were provided with eight long hours of dedicated supply. The rest of the users were provided with constant supply in the other hours. When it was learnt that the group of people residing on the farm were left out in the two-tired divison of electricity, novel plan was adopted for house-hold and commercial supply.
The Scrape Transformers owne4d by Gujarat Electricity Board designed a fresh plan to designate supply for farm residents and 1470 new transformers were set up to furnish single phase electric supply to them.
As a result, the electricity sector earned 50,000 crores higher INR from April 2005 to March 2006. Due to Jyortigram Yojna, with the capacity of 112 megawatt of electricity, the number of consumers have increased from 70 lakhs in 2003 to 86 lakhs in 2006.
