Beware Congress Supporters..!

Are you aware that the Congress mentality of “Congress Party Before Nation” is an exhibition of “Patriotismlessness”..?
We all are children of Motherland Bharatmata and no party, no party beliefs or no party leaders are exclusive than our nation. Gujarat, is an integral part of our country and every person associated with the state would be naturally rejoicing over the achievements of growth the state has achieved. Its a moment of glory and the feeling of pride, as Gujarat completes its 50th year on 1st May 2010. It came into existence exactly 50 years back as a separate entity[state] of India and on in the fiftieth year, it has earned the place, contributing the highest GDP of 12.79% to Indian Economy.
Its a matter of delight..
Its a matter of bliss..
Its a matter of accomplishment..
for all Gujaratis..[people living within the boundary of Gujarat, from Vapi to Banaskantha and Sabarkantha and Kutch to Dang, may be belonging to any caste, class, religion or creed]..
And, I am sure it would be a moment of boundless happiness, to each one, belonging to any party..
The Gujarat Govt. is celebrating these glorious moments of Swarnim Gujarat, a yearlong festivity, as a tribute to all those who have contributed ceaselessly, for the mammoth progress of the state and as a result, have been instrumental in our beloved Motherland Bharatmata , gaining a status of progressive country..
On 1st January 2010, the Gujarat Govt. led by Hon. C.M. Shri Modiji, celebrated the rising of new decade with the novel concept.. Growing above the discriminations of party politics, each one who had representated the state since its invention in 1960, in Loksabha as well as Vidhansabha, were invited to be present in the Sachivalay Hall of Gandhinagar. Each representative of Gujarat legislature and parliament , ypung and upcoming as well as old and handicapped met with emotions flowing high but with the solo resolution in their mindset, SWARNIM GUJARAT..
It was a memorable moment when the Hon. Chief Minister, of present and past, the Hon. Speakers of current and Yesteryears and Hon. Leader of Oppositions of today and yesterdays greeted each other with warmth and affection and declared their solidarity to the celebration of Swarnim Gujarat..
It was truly the song of EK SUR..EK LAY..EK DHYEY..that was recited by each of the leader..
And,
The resolution of togetherness and rising above the party belonging, by both the parties, the ruling and the opposition, was appreciated and cherished ful lheartedly..
But,
The Congress Culture can not resist presenting its true colors..
Now, Congress is planning to celebrate the memorable moment of Swarnim Gujarat, on 1st May2010 in a separate function and create competition.. Please don’t pain your minds to, who will win, but the entire conduct by the Congress is in bitter taste..
Gujarat, or for that matter, any state does not belong to a single party and it is the duty of the entire lot of representatives and citizens to share its joy and sorrows, hand in hand..In stead, the Congress of Gujarat is planning its own celebration, solely to show venom and vengeance!
Dear Shaktisinhji..[Leader of Opposition]
We, all were extremely pleased to read your comment and resolution, EK SUR..EK LAY..EK DHYAYE.. to be part of Swarnim Gujarat,
but,
Congress Culture and its mentality of Party Over State, has taken over you, it seems..
You have always projected yourself to be a very impressive person and this conduct is contrary to your image and persona..
When Gujarat, came into the existence in 1960, the Congress Govt. was in power then.. Thus, it is your humble duty to be part of the state celebration and not considered the Congress Party to be above the State of Gujarat..

Shame on Us!!!

Shame on us..
We, the Indian Govt. in the center is about to commit one more grave goof-up. It is considering, opening the border from the POK and inviting the once Kashmiri Indian population but now colored by the terrorism in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir, back to be part of Indian territory, if they wish to..!!
Such a great idea has been gifted to our Hon. Home Minister Shri P.Chidambaram, by none other than the Jammu-Kashmir’s C.M. Hon. Shri Omar Abdullah and the green signal to repeat the mistakes of the past is given by the Home Minister..
Omar is dying to re-establish the culprits of yesterdays and to forgive their crimes..but he has conveniently forgotten that another group of people, who were very much part of Kashmir and who belonged to this land for more than 5000 years have been mercilessly and forcefully removed from their homeland and are living a life worse than one in hell..Its been 20 long years, to world’s biggest Ethnic Cleansing and the children, who had left their “Madre Vatan”, when they were barely a few years old, can not even remember it.
People have spent generations in the temporary, curtain separated homes..and their heart bleeds when they have no choice but to call this partitions their homes..How can one forget that they hail from “paradise on earth”!!
Its pity, its shame and it’s a matter of disgrace on the part of Central Govt. as well as media..especially, the English Media, who is ever ready with loaded guns to shoot the majority population on the anniversary of Babri Masjid or post Godhra riots..but their barking is completely one sided and they sit relaxed if the accused are Kasmiri Pundits.. They have closed their ears and shut their eyes towards the biggest Ethnic Cleansing of the globe. The drained out Pundits couldn’t do anything else but shed a few tears and blame their fate..The Hon. Home Minister acknowledged the plan of Shri Omar Abdullah and the hoarse voice of the Pundits remained unheard..They had demanded their own state, a piece of land, where originally they belonged to re-establish themselves, but were denied vehemently.
The only part that the media found appealing was, that Mr. Chidambaram considered the POK to belong to India!! Anything innovative? Friends.. POK always belonged to India and thanks to the dirty game played by the Britishers and the Pakistanis, we lost 78,114 kilometers of our land to the Pakis.. It was not a war won by them and no pressure of UNO or anything worked on them to return the land! Now, what has remained is 1,38,992 sq. kilometer of Kashmir..!
According to the historical facts, the land where Kashmir is situated today, was a mountain range of Varah Mulla and a huge lake within..The grandson of Brahma, Sage Kashyap pulled off one mountain range and the entire lake became empty..That area is Baramullah of North Kashmir..and the valley that came into existence due to emptying of the lake is our paradise on earth- Kashmir.. According to the British historians, the race known as Kashmiri Pundits were the original Aryans inhabiting the land since last 5000 years...!The Muslim invaders were so damn fanatics that they did not wish to spare a single Pundit.. Neither they approved of their leaving the land and migrating nor they wished that they remained Hindu Pundits.. They desired to convert them forcibly..As a result, many committed suicide and many accepted Islam out of no choice. Later on, when Akbar won the area of Kashmir, and for some time, the peace prevailed. When the rule of Ahmedshah Abdalli came, again it was torture for the Pundits.. They crossed the limits in torture and the Pundits used to be packed in a gunny bag and mercilessly thrown in the Dal Lake.. The Pundits asked for the help from Maharaja Ranjitsinhji of Punjab and Maharaja sent his troup with commander Diwanchand and won the land of Kashmir in 1819.That was a temporary relief for the Pundits anguish. But, the situation went from bad to worse once India attained freedom. The short sightedness of Indian rulers towards their policies regarding Kashmir and the constant poking from Pakistan resulted into the movement to separate Kashmir from being the integral part of India.. The years from 1987 to 1990 faced the worst period ever in the history of independent India and the movement to either convert or kick the Pundits from the soil of their motherland gained momentum.
Till today, the Pundits are leaving as refugees in different parts of their own nation and generations are growing up as homeless.. But the Pundits after years of heinous and torturous life, have lost the will to combat.. it seems. Their demand of creating a part of land as Punoon Kashmir has been rejected and their plight is heartbreaking..
Before bending down on their knees in front of the Pakistani authority and roaring about peace and harmony between the two nations, the Indian Govt. should give a glance to their very own Kashmiri Pundits’s quandary of two decades..We and our Govt. in the center is for appeasing the minority, and in that very manner, the Hindus are in a minority in Kashmir..!!!
Please burn your blood and shed a few tears for our very own brothers..
But,
Please do not stop there. They need justice.. Justice, that we have forgotton extremely cooly as they are small in number and small as Vote bank..
So,
It is shame on us..
The Divya Bhaskar [Gujarati] has published the detail massacres of Kahmiri Pundits. Read it yourself and weep!!
21st March 1997, 7 Pundits killed in Sangrampura.
15th June 1997, 3 Pundits killed in Udhampur.
26th January 1998, 23 Pundits were massacred in Vandhana.
5th February 2000, 2 Pundits murdered in Anantnag.
13th July 2002, 24 Pundits killed in Kasimnagar.
23rd March 2003, 25 Pundits murdered in Nandigram.
These are the figures of the massacres of Pundits after 1990, who did not wish to leave motherland.
After 1997, in the 13 years, 8 group muders on a lhuge scale has taken place by the terrorists and the police has failed to locate culprit. In Gujarat, post Godhara, Shri Modiji, is held responsible, without anything proved against him as yet, but no Faroukhs or Omars or Gulamnabi Azad or Mufti Saiyyad or Mehbooba are answerable to any action of crimes in Kashmir..

Is it not the time to come out of the dream world?

Another intelligence failure. What face does the Congress Govt. have now and what is their claim to power, now?
The Bomb blast in the German Bakery in Pune..Our Hon. Home Minister, Shri P. Chidambaram denies it being the failure of the Intelligence...The Maharashtra Home Minister, Hon. Shri R.R. Patil admits it being the lapse of the Intelligence..The contradictory statements and the history is repeated..
What else is it, if not the blatant lapse of intelligence?
How does it happen, that every few months, India is a target of terrorism and our Govt. is caught napping.. Isreal is sitting amongst number of enemy nations and not one of those has the guts to finger it.. The U.S. faces one terror and not a single incidence of terror takes place, again. Why is that our enemy feels free to assault us repeatedly?
Why is Mr. R.R. Patil still on the post? Why Mr. Ashok Chavan not given his resignation?
Do we lack the required trained police force? I don’t think so..as we had sufficient to deploy, when Shri Rahul Gandhi visited the city [approximately 12,000] and when Shri Sharukh khan’s film was being released [app.20,000]. I have personally nothing against them and I feel that it is the Govt.’s duty to ensure security to every of his citizen to pursue his pursuit of living..but were they sent on the already committed holiday, when the blast took place? [at the time of Shahrukh’s films release, all the police force was asked to cancel their leave.] If the police force is not adequate, India has huge population and many more people can be appointed in the police force but the excuse of failure of intelligence or the inadequate police force is absolutely condemnable.
We, the citizens of India and the majority of the population following Hindu religion are basically peace oriented. But our harmony orientation should not be mistaken as incapability to protect our own land or people. Our media constantly bark about “AMAN KI AASHA” but what Aman are we talking about? In the hope of Aman, the outsiders come and do Chaman[enjoyment] out here and present us with a gift of Bomb Blast!! Now, the argument , by the media and the suedo-intellectuals, who remain in their closed circuit imaginary mindset that “ALL IS WELL” and sports and arts and entertainment should be considered exclusive and out of the parapet of animosity and hostility. But is there any guaranty that along with the artistes that visited India in Asha of Aman, were not accompanied by the terrorists!! It may appear jarring thought but the result is in front of your eyes.. A slap across our face.. Venue- German Bakery, Pune..
Are we sooooo naïve that we do not have the guts to constantly scrutinize the India based Islamic Terrorist Groups like SIMI and Indian Mujahhuddin and other such outfits that are proven to be associated with the Terrorist groups? Why do we always start searching for the medicine after we have been hit hard by the diseases? And that too, again and again..
The simple conclusion to these entire fiasco is.. Stop this peace talks as they are completely one-sided and the other side is having a good laugh at your expense and throw away this thoughts of Opening of the border from POK..At least stop living in the dream world that marriage is possible between the two nations, as one sided love can only result into divorce..Face the reality and take a stand..please stop talking about peace with Pakistan till Pakistan is proved innocent in the blasts of Pune.
I am sure the person sitting in the authority as the Hon. Home Minister is well versed and intelligent, than is it the lack of political will?

A nationwide opinion poll India’s best governed states

Few days back Mr. Rahul Gandhi commented that if India wants to progress than first we have to solve the problem of Gujarat. What problem Mr. Rahul Gandhi? That Gujarat is the only state and Shri Modiji is the only chief minister that is achieving real progress? please read the following.

A nationwide opinion poll
India’s best governed states
With exclusive interviews of Narendra Modi Gujarat, Sheila Dixit Delhi, Omar Abdullah Jammu & Kashmir, Bhupinder Singh Hooda Haryana, Raman Singh Chattisgarh, Nitish Kumar Bihar, Ramesh Pokhriyal Uttarakhand, Prem Kumar Dhumal Himachal Pradesh, B S Yeddyurappa Karnataka

The Sunday Indian and C-Voter nationwide survey of India’s best governed states has seen Gujarat emerge on top among the big states. Orissa and Bihar have tied to fill the rest of the podium. Among the small states, Haryana has run away with the top spot, followed by Chattisgarh and Delhi. In terms of perception outside one’s own state, Narendra Modi is the most popular chief minister, Sheila Dikshit and Nitish Kumar coming in at distant second and third positions respectively.

One thing has come out crystal clear from the responses. People have given primacy to development and governance in rating the state governments and chief ministers. The trend can be taken for yet another vindication of the fact that the Indian democracy may finally be going beyond the ambits of identity politics. Whether an incumbent state government is delivering on the fronts of healthcare, education, sanitation, irrigation, transport and employment generation, whether it is able to restore law and order, whether it is cracking down on corruption – these benchmarks are being considered more important by Indians than appeals to their religious, caste or lingual identity.

However, the survey held among 20,000 respondents (people eligible to vote) has a lesson in store even for the toppers. None of the chief ministers have got a net approval rating of over 40 per cent. This basically means there is urgent need to do more work and that there is no room for complacency.

Though their area of work is limited to the states they represent, the survey made clear that the popularity of some chief ministers cut across state borders. Narendra Modi, Sheila Dikshit and Nitish Kumar are the typical examples. Out of these three, Nitish Kumar deserves special mention as this is his first term in arguably the most difficult state of the country. Modi and Dikshit have had the advantage of prior experience though that does not take the shine of their achievements.

Modi has been voted the best in all categories. Be it electricity, roads, healthcare, primary education, transport, communications, the situation in Gujarat seems only to be improving. But Modi’s road to victory has a few significant potholes. Only 6 per cent of voters in Gujarat are satisfied with the government’s action to control corruption in civil services. Gujarat’s scores in the parameters of law and order and social and communal harmony is also abysmal.

Raman Singh’s popularity is noteworthy, considering he rules a state which is small and plagued by Maoist violence. People seem to be largely satisfied with his government's work. His state takes the second position in all the categories among the five best small states.

Equally remarkable is Orissa's Naveen Patnaik who has garnered the second position in terms of net satisfaction ratings with the chief minister but his state is in the fifth position in terms of governance among five large states and lowest in the overall quality of life.

Methodology

This is one of the most exhaustive and comprehensive surveys done to rate the performance of state governments and chief ministers by their own voters. In all, 26,432 citizens and voters across were selected through random sampling. The number of voters selected for each state was proportional to the number of Lok Sabha and Assembly seats of each state, Rural and urban voters were selected on the basis of the percentage of voters residing in rural and urban areas. For example, the sample from Gujarat has proportionately more urban voters than the sample from Orissa. Adequate attention was given to ensuring representations from all socio-economic levels, caste and religion. Each ‘voter’ was given a questionnaire to fill up. Team C-Voter identified 15 parameters on which the citizen voter was required to rate the government and the chief minister. The answer options were standard-ranging from much improved to remains the same to far worse. Positive responses on each parameter were aggregated and a final average performance measurement was done accordingly. It is important to note here that the ‘performance’ of the state government and chief minister is based entirely on the perception of the individual voter whose expectations differ from state to state. Hence, Bihar scores over Karnataka in terms of voter perceptions for the parameter public transport. One interesting and exclusive aspect of the survey is a question asked to voters to rate the best Chief Minister outside their own state. It has thrown up interesting results! This is an ongoing survey and TSI, along with Team C-Voter will be conducting them on a quarterly basis and exclusively share the results with readers.

Enough false promises...Mr. P.M.

A poor and famished man, dying of starvation, cannot distinguish between the Reserved Stock of Food and / or the subsidized food grains open market... All he wants, is a mouthful to eat..And fill his tummy to survive.
Maharashtra alone has approximately 500000 children suffering from malnutrition, says the latest survey. A simple math can give us a figure of total number of children suffering from malnutrition. and add their parents to that figure and the dire food situation of India will come to light.
But,
Our Hon. P.M. does not wish to bring out the Reserve Stock at the moment to bring down the prices of essential food grains. He says that the stocks should be maintained till the drought situation passes. The logic sounds right.
But there are people dying of hunger. Worst still, people are going half hungry and are at back breaking work all around. Their health is fast deteriorating. And PM waits for the drought situation to pass.
Petroleum prices are going to sky rocket soon. That will further make the basic dietary needs costlier. And if the drought situation persists for an additional year than? How many will have to die before PM decides to fulfill his promise to subsidize the grains. Rich and even middle class do feel the pinch of inflation, especially cost rise in food grains, but they somehow survive. Poor have no way to survive.
By not giving timely subsidies our honorable PM sends the message that those who can manage to buy costly grains should eat and the rest should strive for spiritual enlightenment. After all ours is a spiritual country.
A government that is willing to actually do something for the masses has many ways to do it. When the recession was at the peak and people losing their jobs as well as hopes, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Modi decided to start all the future Infrastructure projects immediately. This is the reason that Gujarat felt the least amount of burden of the recession. Only the diamond market, which is 100% exports oriented was severely hurt in Gujarat.
There are ample of measures the Central Govt. can take to curtail further price rise and to provide basic necessity to deprived class. In the All C.M. MEET IN Delhi, day before yesterday, the non UPA C.M.’s were pro-active in their suggestions. Price control is not a new thing. World over this device is used.
Uttarakhand ‘S Hon C.M. Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal reacted that the price rise was an artificial one. Kerala’s Hon. C.M. Shri VS Achyutandanan and West Bengal’s Hon. C.M. Shri Budhdeb Bhattacharya echoed the same sentiments...
As suggested by the Hon. C.M. of Chattisgarh, a ban on Forward Trading of all food items is invaluable.
The Hon. C.M. of Orissa suggested that the Allocation for the Central Public Distribution System [PDS] should be increased.
but our experience with Congress government in the past has been that there is no genuine willingness to do anything for the poor. Except shouting slogans and employing publicity gimmicks such as brief train traveling by their young prodigy.

open letter to Dear Rahul

Dear Rahul,
Welcome to and Good bye, from Mumbai..
you are a damn good actor, i must say.. your talent in acting will put any established performer to shame.
Congratulations for that..
Shri Modiji traveled by BRTS with the fellow citizens
and,
You traveled by local train of Mumbai..
Similiar performance..
[I would like to congratulate your script writer, too. He has adapted from the plot of Gujarat, just like our writers adapt from Hollywood films.]
But, than, Shri Modiji's act remains authentic in people's heart as it is followed by concrete action of development in all spheres to bring glory in people's lives.
Where as, your act, if not accompanied by the sound and strong steps in solving innumerable issues of people, than this ride will only prove to be a Joy Ride..
Enquiering and Communicating regarding the hazards faced by the travelers, living in this everyday dieing city is not sufficient. Being Pro-active in providing the much needed eminities is a must..
Congress is in power in Maharashtra, since last 10 long years and the progress of this city has declined regularly.
Blaming Shivsena, which is not in power since last 10 years is an easy way out to shut ones eyes towards this downwards slop. This Ostrich syndrome will not hearten people's lives for a long time..
Living in Mumbai is becoming like a hell, everyday. The conditions of Traffic Jams and pot holls and encrochments and so and so forth..
And this situation will worsen unless the immediate steps are taken.
And the Joy Ride will be forgotten in a few days..and only the strong developmental steps will prevail.
In reality your traveling by the local train was to defie the Shivsena and play Hide-in-Seek with the Shivsainilks.
And you did that pretty well.
But in reality, it is work half done..
Long way to go dear,
and
Lots to learn.. Gimmicks don't take very far..
Take Care..
Madhavi..

Purity of Means is as important as purity of end.

“Saadhan-Shuddhi is as important as Sadhya-Shuddhi”, meaning sanctity of means are as important as purity of purpose. I had heard this but now I understand this concept in its true meaning.
Pakistan is at a terror war with India. Time has proved that Pakistan has no real intention of stop war, direct or by proxy. Not even normal trade relations are possible with Pakistan. At least one world class Pakistani cricketer, Javed Miandad has chosen to be related to the known terrorist.
In such scenario, it makes no sense having pally relations with Pakistan and inviting their cricketers to play in India. It makes no sense to invite their artistes for shows in India. .
Lets face it, that Pakistan issue will not be solved with superficial remedies, such as Aman Ki Asha.. Only Indian initiative will not bring about change in Pakistani approach towards India.. India should insist on complete compliance to ceasefire accord by Pakistan.. Before starting such remedial surface measures.
Shri Balasaheb Thackrey and Shivsena’s theory is not completely wrong but their actions are distasteful. No sensible Indian can approve “ Love Pakistan” on the front page of TOI as it is an open insult to the country but one can not go and burn down the press, by the same token, aggressive action by Shivsena is anti-democratic and anti-national.
In the case of Shivsena, their purity of purpose is getting killed as their conduct is inappropriate. As they say, everything in excess is poisonous and to bow down till your kicked is a cowardly conduct but at the same time, to assert to non- peaceful measures to forcefully get your action approved, will only spread enimosity.

If I can reside in Mumbai, why not in Shrinagar?

Hon. Home Minister Shri P.Chidambaram and Mr. Rahul Gandhi have declared that Mumbai belongs to entire India and ALL INDIANS ARE FREE TO LIVE AND WORK ANYWHERE, IN MUMBAI AND ANYWHERE IN INDIA.
Very, very true... Hon. Home Minister and the projected future Prime Minister of Congress... In absolute agreement with what you say...
But,
I have a query...
I would like to reside and make my living in Kashmir, which is an integral part of our beloved motherland. I, as a citizen of India, have absolute right to settle in this “heaven on earth”.
And,
I am not allowed... it pricks like a thorn but we are helpless in our very own country.
The prevalence of Article 370 restricts me to dwell in the land mass that is within the LOC of my nation.
Where do I voice my complain and whom do I show my pain?
I support your appeal that everybody and anybody is entitled to stay in Mumbai as it is part of our country.
But,
The same way, if one wishes to live in Kashmir, why the Article 370 is not being removed?
