Sau Chuhe Kha ke Billi Haj ko Chali...

Food Security Ordinance... well known as Food Bill, is being termed as ambitious "project" of Sonia Gandhi.. Yes, ambitious as she hopes to cash it to buy votes!!!Originally, this promise was imparted by Hon. PM, when the Govt. came to power and was to bring it within 100 days!!!.
But,
This bill also is witnessing the same fate as the Congress's slogan of Garibi Hatao, which was announced in seventies by Late Smt Indira Gandhi but sadly, it is still being shouted from rooftop by Congress as the future plan of theirs...If that was the priority to uplift the living standard of the poor 40 years back then why such a bill is needed???
Does it mean that something has gone wrong by the party which has managed to remain in power for most of the period since independence???
Why sudden empathy for hungry stomachs of the country??? It did not exist in last few years, when the Wheat was rotting in Godown and even after Hon. Supreme Court had criticized the step of UPA Govt. of not distributing it among the needys...
And,
This criticism of Hon. Supreme Court was arrogantly overlooked at that time..
Y???
Because the time was imperfect and this generosity of UPA would not earn them brownie points, hence Madam and her gang decided to keep the deprived high and dry for the time, it would be proper to gain votes in return!!!
The Food Security Bill is a tool that UPA wishes to use but Chattisgarh state Govt. has covered not just 67% of population, that UPA is proposing to provide for but 90% of people are getting the fruits of food at low prices.. Wheat, Rice are provided at 2 to 3 Rs already. Is that not Food Security Bill???
In Gujarat, Wheat is provided at 3 Rs per kg and Rice at 2 Rs... Is that not Food Security Bill???
In Tamilnadu, the state Govt. provided basic food items to poor at 2 to 3 Rs. Is that not Food Security Bill???
Oh!!! Yes....
But,
These state Govt.s did not make hue and cry about it and did not turn it into Vote Gaining Machine and it has been imparted as part of Good Governance..
But,
I think the UPA is unconcerned with the term Good Governance and every step is aimed at power earning strategy...
