The Whiteness of Colgat getting stained by Coalgate Scam by none other than Hon. P.M.

The hugest tragedy of the recent times are not appearance of various scams and scandles…
Nor it is occerance of colossal corruptions..
For, they are the outcome of yet another dreadful event..
And,
The event is, unmistakably the coming to power of UPA in 2009.
The Comptroller and Auditor General Office [CAG] has blasted a fresh bomb. The shock of2-G Spectrum scam is yet to be absorbed.
And,
The new earthquake has hit the economy of the nation.According to the reports of CAG, due to the policy of the current UPA Govt. which did not permit the auction of Coal, has cost the union Govt. Rs. 10.7 lakh crores…
The Man Mohan Singh Govt. tried to savage itself by announcing that this report of CAG, is not final but unfortunately, CAG’s statement claiming this report to be final has brought the Govt. in a soup.
When we talk of Colgate, we visualize its Whiteness, but this Coalgate has created a Black and dark bloat on the prestige of Govt. that is unlikely to be eradicated.
India can boast of the largest reserves of Coal, yet Indian Govt. regularly has to import huge amount of coal to creat Thermal energy. Neither the industries are empowered with substantial stock of coal.
In Spectrum scam, A. Raja distributed licenses to private operators on first cum first bases, without auctioning it. In the similar manner, at a fixed price, the Govt. sold the stock of Coal to certain private as well as public operators.
The difference between Spectrum scam and Coalgate scam are: Firstly, the Spectrum scam dealt with licenses of 2G, which after the order from the Hon. Supreme Court, has been revoked. Thus, the loss, definitely huge, but has been retracted to dwell further. Where as, Coal, is such a natural resource of the nation that once it has been exhausted, is irrevocable. The loss caused by selling it to private companies is permanent. Secondly, in Spectrum scam, the central character was A. Raja.. A minister but in Coalgate scam, hugely unfortunately for the nation, it is the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Man Mohan Singh, himself. Broadcasting on a massive scale, that the country is on the path of Power Emergency, the PMO took the control of the Coal ministry under its own belt.
According to the reports of CAG, the 155 mines of Coal that the country has, were passed off to the 100 odd private and public enterprises, to create power at negligible price. These companies create electricity with using coal and sell to the consumer at a higher rate, thus generating gigantic profit. When the private enterprises acquired licenses of coal mining, certain foreign companies too, jumped into it. They too, purchased shares of the companies acquiring mining license.
Coal India is an organization that owns the monopoly of coal mining in India. Any private operator that wishes to buy Coal, has to procure it from Coal India. Some time ago, Coal India increased the rate of Coal and these private companies created a boom rang and appealed to the PMO. The PMO intervened and compelled the Coal India to decrease the price rise. Then the new policy proclaiming the surfacing of Power emergency, was created which allotted the coal stocks to private agencies without procuring any tenders or doing auction. The British Company TCI , threatened to take Coal India to court, for creating losses.
After China and USA, India is the third largest country that produces Coal. The Central Govt. owned enterprise Coal India, is the largest company that produces coal in the world. Last year, it produced mammoth production of 44 crore tones. As this coal ministry is directly under the Prime Minister, the entire power regarding the same lies in his hands. The Principal Secretary of the PMO, Shri Pullock Chaterjee pressurized the public sector company Coal India, to pull off the their price rise and to get into an agreement with 100 enterprises for 20 years.
The Central Govt. ownes 90% shares of Coal India, where as 10% shares are owned by private companies. These private companies have complained that the Central Govt. is creating losses for Coal India. There is fear that these private companies might sue Govt. for the losses.
But,
Does it matter to the Hon. Prime Minister???
For all these years, that Shri Manmohan Singh has remained in power, the myth prevailed that he is a non-corrupt man.
What is corruption???
To take the bribe with your own two hands or your own involvement? Is that sufficient example of corruption? Suresh Kalmadi, A. Raja or Kanimozi have been charged for the akin acts and they are themselves paying for it.
But,
Being a mere spectator to the to the corruption crime is no less an offence. Sadly, our Hon. P.M. has adopted the role of Mahatma Gandhi’s Teen Bundars.’Bura mat dekho’, ‘Bura mat suna’ and ‘Bura mat bolo’..
And,
He coolly watches the one after the other scams happening.
It is heartbreaking to comment in harsh words for the person sitting in the Hon. Prime Minister’s chair and only due to the respect for the chair, one restrains one’s self from condemning and criticizing the person sitting in the honorable post.

It seems even Shri Singh has blackened his hands in Coal gate Scam.
